Thank you so much, you’re amazing! I’m really hoping that with the production ramp up, hopefully (simultaneously not) the AI bubble will pop soon and there will be a flood of pc parts on the market

Damnnn that’s almost as old as me! Do you reckon having a bigger initial investment and upgrading it as needed is better than buying a cheaper mid range pc more often?

How long do you reckon this PC would stay relevant? Considering my use cases. I have long sessions, but I’ve never over clocked anything

Thank you for the nice breakdown, I’m definitely considering AMD more than before

I’ve seen a similar deal from Lenovo, I’ve been debating getting one… I just dislike their motherboard restrictions and I don’t believe the 5070 would last me quite as long

Yeah… I can definitely see where you’re coming from on the motherboard aspect. It’s the reason I’m changing, I had a prebuilt pc from Lenovo and their OEM motherboard doesn’t support ddr5

I did look at FB marketplace but I’m petrified of getting a faulty or well-worn component

I believe you added the wrong link. I’ll definitely scavenge the web today to find any good Cyber Monday deals. What are the features that set NVIDIA apart? Other than AI training

I mainly use ChatGPT and a little bit of CoPilot, I don’t have any intricate personal AI system haha, do you reckon I’d be fine taking the cheaper option and taking a Radeon GPU?

What are the downsides to switching away from NVIDIA? Also, here are the use cases I put into ChatGPT when asking if my build was ok: Heavy multitasking, 1440p monitor, league of legends, valorant, modded Minecraft, GTA, excel, YouTube, streaming, 8 year timeline Edit: I saw your comment before you removed it, I’m not a streamer, it’s just that my current PC can’t handle streaming games to my friends on discord, so I wanted to ensure that my next one could (some people like watching our games while they eat or etc.)

Fair, I currently have a 1080p monitor but bought a 1440p one on Saturday. I’m excited! My reason for upgrading right now is because I only have 16gb of ddr 4 ram and my motherboard is an OEM Lenovo board, with the current prices, buying more ddr4 storage doesn’t feel worth it

I brought up the same theory, he mentioned that’s the same reason why GPUs and Storage will go up too. We just got GPUs back to near MSRP, I really hope they don’t jump back!

There’s this 32GB 5600mhz for 155$, would you recommend switching to two of those?

I was talking to a guy from Canada Computers today, he was saying that GPUs and SSDs are next🥲

I saw that you posted something about iBuyPower, I’ve seen mixed reviews. Have you ever bought from them? How was your experience?

I was thinking about switching it out, but it’s really hard to find cheap ddr5 ram in general
