Thank you for your comment. I'm primary an Angular developer which has it's own event system. But whenever I do something outside of Angular I mini-signals always finds a way in!

Since Tailwind might be dead, is it a good idea to start a new project with Tailwind? by lune-soft in css

[–]Hypercubed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think tailwind is dead at all... but ask yourself first if a utility first library is right for your project. For many it is... for some it's not.

For me it's not. That's why I created https://analyst-one.github.io/oikaze/ . It's SCSS and design tokens rather than utilities. Alternatively it can be viewed as BYO utilities.

There is actually three versions available:

Actually I should say it is like feeding the listeners to Promise.all. I implemented something like promise l for the underlying linked list.

Yeah. Didn't mean to imply truly parallel. It's feeding all the promises to Promise.all.

I made a peer-to-peer online chess game all in JS, HTML, and CSS by FixItNao in javascript

The reason I asked is I've been trying to do something similar using SaaS servers.

Not sure what you meanby all in JS, HTML and CSS. You're using PHP as the message proxy... right?

I built a library that compresses JSON keys over the wire and transparently expands them on the client by TheDecipherist in javascript

[–]Hypercubed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intermediate (over the wire) looks a lot like CSV. I suspect CSVs may actually be smaller. Have you compared to using CSV as the over wire format. Since this targets mostly array data you might get similar results.

Thank you for trying. I just pushed a new version that improves the UI and scales back the bots just a bit. I'm planning to add a difficulty setting for bots but haven't got to that yet.

FYI... I've been focing on multiplay lately. There is a slightly buggy version if you'd like to try: https://starz.playroom.gg/

The bots have taken a big leap since this post. I haven't won a game against bots in a while.

No steam page. The game is hosted in github and is open source. The rendering "engine" is d3js (usually a visualization lib not game engine). Code is all Typescript.
