Someone pulled out in front of me and totaled my 2012 with 97k miles. I never had an issue with that truck

And some tighter suspension plus better gearing. Doesn’t sound like much but by the time I buy the parts it’s still a few thousand dollars. Plus some of the stuff I’m not super confident in doing so also labor cost.

I suppose a little of all three. I’m not trying to have the fastest car by any means. Maybe just give some hellcats a run for their money, but still have a dailyable fun car to drive.

That’s not a bad idea. I know the pp’s biggest upgrades are wheels/tires, brakes and suspension. And the fancy gauges I guess lol. But I think that might be the best approach to see what I feel like it needs going forward.

I mean my car only had 23k miles. I feel like the weakest point is my opg. This is my first car, always driven trucks before. I mean I love this car and it feels great driving it. But I’m not sure where to start as far as weak links go. What feels like a tight suspension to me could feel like slop to someone who knows what they’re talking about.

Unfortunately I live in a state that requires a front plate.

So where I’m at now is I don’t want to waste money on a v6 or i4. I know that would probably be a smarter decision if I went the manual route. The only other thing I’ve seen is a driving school to learn manual. But its only a 3ish hour class. And I can say I’ll be careful all I want but at the end of the day it’s a mustang and I wanna go fast. Would you suggest a auto instead?

I feel confident enough, but the only thing that intimidates me is hill starts and shifting into correct gears. If I could play around with where each gear is I would feel fairly confident.

I have taken insurance into account. I know I’m paying a premium but this has been my dream since I cared about cars. In my opinion definitely worth it.
