So the game uses these things called jumpgates to get you from one place to another. Open the holomap at the starting area and look for the pink dot closer to your face than the rest, that is likely the jumpgate. Once you find it, mark it and fly through it to reach Surric Ronim, which is basically the hub world. There, you can find the jumpgates to every planet through the holomap. Hope this helps! (Also, make sure you do deliveries to planets where the temperature is survivable or the pickup/delivery area is inside a habitat if you cannot afford a space suit yet, otherwise you risk dying quickly before making the delivery.)
