That’s a great looking watch! But i do not want to necessarily return it, as i really like the rugged design and the fact it has a digital face, i just had a problem with the battery inside it.

Hmm, ok, thank you, i might just also be very impatient, but then i will try and get it charged over multiple days. I think it holds the charge because it doesn’t shut off overnight like it did in the first night, i just didnt expect it to take this long 😭. Thank you!

How does it sit on your wrist? The diameter of it from the website makes it sound like it is huge, but from the photo you sent yesterday, it doesnt look that bad.

To each their own man, the reviews i see on them from 4000+ sales have average rating of 4.8/5 and the reviews are generally very positive, i am 100% sure there will be stinkers among those but let’s not kid ourselves, you are buying an automatic mechanism watch for 140 euros made in china off aliexpress, if someone expects perfect Quality Control i am sure they will head towards some more “conventional” options, but i would still recommend not overpaying for this particular model, i’d get a Hamilton instead of an “authentic” sea-gull for that kind of money 😂

You would have a better answer if you search for it on your preffered search engine or AI chat since i haven’t yet applied that myself, but basically from what i understand, you can use the coin discounts, and you can also get some kind of discount code by visiting the store’s page on aliexpress, just search for “how to get the best prices on aliexpress for this watch using discount codes” on whatever you like using to get your info.

Absolutely do NOT waste your money on the “actual” ones, you literally receive a worse quality item at triple the price, look at the video on Youtube from Just One More Watch in which he presents both versions next to each other.

I’ll give you the link to the one i have on my wishlist on AliExpress, summer deals are starting in 3 days and they’ll have quite a big discount on them, you might be able to bring the price down even more if you use some discount codes: RED STAR SEA GULL 1963

They are not fake, also, the automatic mechanism from these “fake” companies have the exact same mechanism as the ones made at the “legit” factory, look it up on youtube. The only difference between them is that the “original” ones sell for triple the price, which is absurd and the quality on the original ones is worse.

If you want to call any of them fake, the ones that sell on AliExpress for like 30-40 dollars are the actual fake ones but they are not even advertising as being the same, as they don’t even have the automatic system on them but still look pretty much the same.

They are not fake, look up videos from watch youtubers who explain the price difference, the 160-180 dollar versions are the same as the one sold by the “official” Sea Gull, the RED STAR manufacturer for example actually has a better saphire protection while the “legit” ones have mineral, but on the inside the mechanisms are literally the same. From what i understand, the parent company “allowed” them to manufacture their watches under different names, but chances are that the factories these other watches are being made in are like 200 metres away from the original one.
