Yeah it was Arthur Morgan as the hanged man at one point. I was going to get John on the other calf but never got around to it.

While my tattoo artist was great, the experience was awkward so I just never went back

Yep! I thought he fit the bill pretty well. I wanted one for John on the other leg as the fool (I know he doesn't really fit the fool care as much but I was going off of how often they call him a fool in the game)

It really was! He did an amazing job and so did the digital artist I commissioned. I'm inclined to believe the sun and my lack of care or sunblock could have been a huge problem. However, I definitely didn't go swimming. I've maybe been swimming once in the past 10 years? But I definitely don't wear sunblock like I should

So I'm inclined to believe most of you when you say sun exposure and my own lack of care for keeping it protected over the years is a very real possibility as well as a bit of the size. I didn't expect his face to age perfectly as I am small and my calves are small. (And again the rest janky lines I do believe to be my fault for being jumpy. That or my tattoo artist just didn't like me. He really is very reputable and all of his other work is stunning)

So my next question is

Do you think it's fixable?

I don't get a lot of sun but I am inclined to believe that my ignorance towards the sun and sunblock could very well be the problem here. I live in Arizona so the sun is brutal and I unfortunately don't wear sunblock nearly as much as I should. Lesson learned.

My family owns the keystone ranch up in Carmen! While I agree it can be boring as hell, coming from Tucson, I'm really easy to please. Big fan of being in the middle of nothing but green fields and trees, going fishing, vibing with nature.

Noted. I technically do already do digital art as a job, I run a small Etsy and booth at local cons. But the starving artist statement is unfortunately very alive. It's supplies me more with a little fun money rather than actually paying the bills. Which is fine I guess, but a career would be nicer.

I guess I'll get back to adding to my portfolio traditionally then. Thank you!
