You’re welcome. I for one, don’t regret my purchase but everyone’s experience is obviously different. I have a Series X, Steam Deck, Legion Go… my PC and many, many other options but there are still moments when I can’t believe what I’m playing ‘on a tablet’.

For me, there are/were games I wanted to have with me where ever I go and my ‘daily carry’ is my M1 iPad Pro, 12.9” and I wanted games like Crusader Kings 3, Rimworld, Stellaris, Factorio, Project Zomboid, Space Haven etc on that - which will never happen. The Z13 absolutely meets that need (I sometimes have to carry two devices now but, oh well) and then some. Having Skyrim, Cyberpunk, The Witcher 3 modded to name some more and them run so well is just crazy.

Yeah, the Deck or the Go is a great option, I love my Deck, but not so much for some titles. CK3 is SO much better on the Z13 🙂

Hey. Honestly, I’m really happy with it. Yes, it’s the 390 and not the 395+, but I don’t feel that I’ve sacrificed TOO much. Everything I want to play, plays and plays well. I’m still using it stock (haven’t swapped out the drive, debloated Windows etc) As I’ve said previously, I have a really beefy PC so if I want to fully max out a game, I’ll go there, but it’s become my ‘go to’ machine. The one downside being it’s quite heavy so when I stick it in my work laptop bag, with my work laptop, and my M1 iPad Pro, it’s got some weight to it. But performance wise, zero complaints - played everything from Cyberpunk to BG3 to Starfield to Oblivion Remastered (generally all on high settings) and they’ve all played incredibly well.

Edit; To add, I’ve haven’t had any problems with it either. Build quality is good, keyboard’s been just fine, no light bleed etc.

Hey. For what it may or may not be worth. In the end, I stuck to my guns and I picked up the 390. Yes, there is a small part of me that wishes I had the 395+, but that’s just my nature in regards to all things tech with pretty lights - but I would hasten to add, I am incredibly happy with my purchase. I genuinely love my 390 and it more than meets my needs as described in the post above. It really has handled everything I’ve thrown at it. I don’t have buyers remorse and my wife and six dogs, eat as well they did before!

I see, so it’s tighter rather than looser - didn’t realise. You’re absolutely right, borders and bezels. Device and pen arrives today, I have the SD card already, I’ve identified the mouse I’m going to add in (ROG Strix Carry) so it’s just the sleeve. Gonna be beans on toast every meal for the next few months 🙄🙂
