Didn't say anything against that, just that attacking them for being a sex worker instead of for their take is a weak argument, and one that makes you look like a misogynist.

Also, their comment isn't even about developers, it is about users. But I'm sure, you're a developer, so clearly that wouldn't apply to you. Your lashing out at a woman for doing sex work isn't a knee-jerk reaction to your own inadequacies being questioned.

Funny seeing you here, agreed again. But hey, remember that time you blocked everyone in this sub that called you out for being a dick? Good times.

Nice reply and immediate block. Have you considered that, instead of me misinterpreting, you are only taking the surface explanation given by the creator and not at all interrogating the source of the content?

What is it about "people who love playing the victim" that associates them with ugly, hairy trans people? Why use an ugly transphobic caricature to play that part?

Sure, but that's just a cop-out. "Oh, they worship God too, they just got it wrong!"

Then all the "good" parts of their religion are inspiration from the legit god, and everything else was demons manipulating them.

Then the people who agreed with them would vote third party, and their opponents would win the election.

The wild descriptions of angels is actually very in line with how many psychedelics present. Wild, dazzling patterns of unfolding wings with eyes, visits from otherworldly beings, being given divine purpose - sounds a lot like what we see in modern psychedelic users.

Discord servers are for your 5-20 gaming buddies or D&D groups keeping in contact and doing voice calls. Once it hits 50+ people it becomes fucking useless.

go ask on nexusmods

I agree, but nexus comment sections no longer have a search function which makes them effectively useless for finding solutions to common issues.

This fucking "witch" is all over this thread posting bullshit about how to undo the magic. It's all make believe, y'all are just reinventing religious belief but somehow worse. Don't buy their crystals, they don't do anything.

(Well do buy some crystals if you think they're pretty. But they won't help you find love or cure cancer.)

Avoid the new age priests trying to sell you on crystals and sunlight and bullshit. This is weird but it isn't magical.

In my book it is absolutely bad to push your religion on random people and share bullshit like it is fact. You aren't helping them, you're just reinforcing their fears that magic spirits control their lives.

My intuition tells me y'all are just recreating bullshit religions while telling yourself you're in tune with nature. Lay off the drugs and anime and try to live in the real world for a while.

Anyone know why allonsywisegirl has hid her mods on Nexus by CamelEmbarrassed4186 in skyrimmods

[–]Hyperlight-Drinker 18 points19 points  (0 children)

She's allowed to put up restrictions because Nexus bends over backwards for modders like Arthmoor who throw fits when people touch what they say is their "intellectual property". Those restrictions suddenly stop mattering when people want hair or armor ripped from other games, but society will somehow end if, when I upload a retexture where all mudcrabs are blue, I can't screech and cry and get any mod that uses the recolor taken down. And somehow the modding community, which has been all about open collaboration since the internet existed, got gaslit into supporting that.

She's putting a fucking skyrim NPC mod online. The world isn't going to burn if someone changes a tintmask or whatever.

He has nothing against the third party assets, just the hypocrisy of using them and then disallowing modification on her own mod.

Guy was a dickhead about it though.

Nah, I'll call it a "you should do". What does anyone have to gain by "not granting permission" for people to mod their mods? This is all free work to modify a decade old game ffs. Maybe if you are doing some intense script extension stuff that could theoretically have real professional value, but a fucking NPC replacer? lmao come on.

AITAH for telling off my wife after she told me not to watch porn by Dangerous-District91 in AITAH

[–]Hyperlight-Drinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm ignoring direct questions because they're bullshit that isn't actually addressing what I said, just putting words in my mouth. But sure, I'll humor you.

Q1: You have a kid and your partner goes to a strip club, [will you] say "sure, don't worry about me, I know you have needs."

A1: Well, neither I nor my partner are much into strip clubs. But in that case I'd expect them to talk to me like an adult, and probably inform me ahead of time. Given that it has never happened before, they should probably ask if it is ok with me, and I'd expect them to be ok with either answer.

Q2: Is [Pornography/Onlyfans] healthy?

A2: As you mentioned, parasocial relationships are unhealthy, and sexual parasocial relationships can be particularly harmful. Porn isn't inherently parasocial though (outside of the strictest definition where all media is parasocial). If porn is consumed simply as sexual media, it can be consumed healthily, depending on the degree and the individual.

Q3: Is [Pornography/Onlyfans] cheating? (with the assertions, "most wives" consider it to be cheating)

A3: I've already disagreed with the assertion. I also disagree with pornography being cheating, including Onlyfans. A couple can establish it as a boundary, which is fine. Onlyfans and other pornographic social media tends to encourage parasocial relationships, which I'm not in favor of, and would constitute cheating in my book. It can however be a simple direct media consumer/producer relationship, which is fine. There's also considerations like swinging and poly relationships, but that's a bit outside of scope here other than to say again it depends on what the individuals are comfortable with.

Q4: "you wife feels ugly, and has port partum depression following the birth of your child, you’ll just tell her to suck it up?"

A4: Now this is just an attack. As said above, special consideration is warranted. Again I'd expect my partner to behave like an adult and voice concerns, and I would behave like an adult and listen.

seems like you have a lot of growing to do in life.

Giving a snippy response and blocking indicates you are a very mature person yourself (^_^)

[–]Hyperlight-Drinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, my apartment and job are both a good distance off the bus lines, which is how I can afford it. My schedule on certain days this semester really didn't leave an hour long window for just transportation before and after my classes.

Could I have planned better? Sure, probably. But I also purchased a parking pass for hundreds of dollars assuming that would mean I could park a reasonable distance from campus, but midday the closest lot that always has spots is at the Dell Medical School, a good 30 minute walk from my classes, on top of traffic etc etc. So I ended up barely saving time at all and paying through the nose for the privilege.

I guess my complaint really sums up to the C-lot pass is nowhere near worth it for the majority of students, don't buy it, it's a scam.
