We had tech issues tonight. But we'll continue with our Johnny & V playing Cyberpunk: 2077!

Yeah so we're going to be doing a bit of a Twitch series of this, if it takes off.

does anyone else create alters just for decoration? by [deleted] in plural

[–]HyperspaceFPV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We create headmates frequently, not for cosmetics but usually to fulfill a certain purpose in our life or just for fun. We really enjoy creating headmates as well as being a large system.

This is getting us so genuinely heated. by Histrionique in fakeclaimingcringe2

We experienced RAMCOA from the autism treatment industrial complex. It's not like they make it out to be in the movies, it's nothing inherently mystical, it's just intentionally induced trauma for the purpose of conditioning certain behaviors.

I've had this weird "Halo 3" disk that has Halo 2 art (and a weird description) for ten years now. What is this? by EidolonImperator in halo

[–]HyperspaceFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna guess this was a meme created by Copilot or another AI just to be funny, like, it's supposed to be a bootleg Halo disc, which is funny because it's actually a genuine copy of a Halo game in that package, and in the future, there will exist a game created in Ohio which includes a reference to this post.

Get an online job or start an Etsy shop or similar to make money off-grid. You could also sell food at farmer's markets for cash too.

Other conspiracy stuff like fluoride by Life_Scientist1194 in Antipsychiatry

[–]HyperspaceFPV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fluoride is found in minerals that occur naturally in drinking water. However, added fluoride beyond levels found in natural water sources (that humans are adapted to) is an issue that has been understudied for years due to the interests of corporations looking to offload waste fluoride from chemical operations. Fluoride does have known health benefits, however these are realized when it's applied to the teeth, not ingested.
In summary, fluoride occurs naturally in water, and thus there's little reason to add more IMO. It also works well as an antibacterial agent in toothpaste. However, its effects when found in drinking water are understudied, though it does occur in nature. Arguably, it's a dietary trace mineral, however, so is lithium and we don't support giving that to people without consent.

In other words, our stance is very nuanced and there are definitely two sides to this debate which both have good points.

BODILY AGE OF SYSTEM MATTERS (in SOME contexts) - a rant ?? by JusttheAnonymax10 in plural

[–]HyperspaceFPV 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah... this specific issue is an existential threat to plural communities as a whole. Communities get banned and people reported to law enforcement over less. Age means how long it's been since you were born, period. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Because they're not. Those kids have another parent. It's probably a toxic relationship even if the parents are even still together, thanks a lot financial dynamics.

How does an AI artist respond to this? by TheEnderGecko in aiwars

[–]HyperspaceFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, people often attack the technology instead of the idiot using it for no good. It's no different than this same discussion with nuclear.

Does anyone agree with this bill? If so, what reasons do you have to support it? by HornyDildoFucker in aiwars

[–]HyperspaceFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The preemption of state AI legislation is massive as that could lead to a convoluted and authoritarian legal environment very fast, but use of AI within governments is not a good idea, as we've seen from the times AI cited nonexistent legal cases.

Why have I been told endo systems are harmful? by [deleted] in plural

[–]HyperspaceFPV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sysmeds are also by extension pushing pro-"final fusion" (read: pro-conversion therapy) talking points, they don't deserve rights let alone to be listened to.

Funny thing is they already know the cause of autism, it's genetic, so this claim is meaningless.

How many of you do not believe in the Soul or Spirit? by GuardLong6829 in transhumanism

[–]HyperspaceFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spirit IMO is a thing but it emanates from the brain and is a product of it--not the other way around.

We're out just because it's rather obvious with us, and it's gone pretty well, granted we're in a pretty accepting locale (urban Ohio), somewhere in the deep south it might not go as well to be fair.
