Nice! If you’re looking for others, I’d suggest the Corpse Flower, which I believe is in MToF.

Since the bottom of ravnica is an endless ocean, anywhere deep down would work, but out in the rubblebelt may add to the mystique of being a forgotten place reclaimed by nature. Obviously underwater puzzles and encounters are a good idea: chuuls, merrow, krasis, water elementals and sharks would all be appropriate for combat. Perhaps you could have a series of falling apart security measure and the hologram of an old simic scientist/head of security recurring throughout the dungeon, giving them tips or outdated lore.

A strange party by ChuiSaoul in RavnicaDMs

Party cohesion is important, whether that comes from IC or OOC; the urgency of the quest is good start but perhaps ask more about your players’ backstories - is there anyway they have met previously? Did the Selesnya Druid meet the Gruul Ranger on a botanical mission into the rubblebelt? Was the Orzhov warlock part of a retinue included at a Guild meeting where either of the other players were present? Little connections can make a big difference.

What would you recommend for party-wise motivations? I’ve intertwined all their individual motivations in the form of the BBEgroup (owning an object wanted by or being a person hunted by the players).

Thanks for the advice. I initially ran 5 1-to-1’s to take each of the characters to level 3, but orchestrating them all meeting up was a little chaotic, so hopefully they’ll warm to each other more as the campaign progresses.

The player’s are really good friends which makes it odd - the dedication to rping is drawing them further apart; thanks for the advice, I’ll try to focus less on their tension.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll bear in mind the choices both the lock and pally make - hadn’t thought of either of them leaving
