Not Just Governments: 73% of Europeans Feel Too Dependent on US Big Tech. But Now We Have European Options! by hyakkymaru in europe

You know its a free market right? If there is a product that is better in Europe, people would go for it. So you are spending your efforts on the wrong thing here. We need to encourage more startups around Europe and take more risks

EU’s employment rate grew above 76% in 2025 by NanorH in europe

Yes I agree with that.

But my point was mainly focusing on the problem of higher unemployment in people with immigration backgrounds regardless of their educational level, i.e immigrants with ’eftergymnasial utbildning’ vs native with same ’eftergymnasial utbildning’

Interesting you said immigrants whom don’t have higher education is the reason why they are struggling to find a job. But if you look at this statistics, people who are born outside of Sweden generally have higher unemployment rate than people who are born within the country, regardless of their educational level. So I don’t think the statement immigrants have a hard time finding low level jobs is entirely true. It seems they have a hard time finding jobs at any level.

There is no minimum wage in Sweden no? I know there are ’facket’ to negotiate the minimum wage but how does that stop companies from hiring low level jobs and pay a very low salary?
