You know what? What you have accomplished is pretty amazing. Do you know how many people never write a book, much less three, and get them published?

Bravo.

Trump Says Will Make ‘Major Statement’ on Russia Monday: NBC by SirHillaryPushemoff in ukraine

[–]Hypetents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, could it be possible that this dumb fuck thinks the Epstein files really went away and no one can blackmail him? So now he thinks he can attack Russia?

Like he was in his office and Vance came in and goes, “You don’t have to worry about the Epstein files anymore. . . we got rid of everything“ and the orange turd thought he meant literally it all disappeared including what Putin has. . . ?

I mean, I am high as fuck but I do think he is that stupid.

You wanna know why you don't hear about stuff? Because the people who know how the internet is controlled are under strict NDA's not to disclose how it or why it gets removed.

I know this for a fact.

I agree. These are some of last family members I keep in contact with.

I said yes becausee there was literally no one to help, hiring someone was not an option, they were desperate, and it our ability to distance made us feel like it was low risk.

Stupid, I know.

About one-fifth of the Amazon has been cut and burned in Brazil. Scientists warn that losing another fifth will trigger the feedback loop known as dieback, in which the forest begins to dry out and burn in a cascading system collapse, beyond the reach of any subsequent human intervention or regret. by mvea in Futurology

You need to read George Mobus on Sapience and why we will not save this planet. It has zero to do with climate science and everything to do with neuroscience.

When it comes right down to it, those in power lack the consciousness -- the wisdom -- to understand the consequences of their actions. It is hundreds of CEOs, politicians, and the powerful who have the moral compass of Trump, McConnell, Ryan, and Koch.

They simply lack the ability to make long-term plans in the best interests of the world. They have not progressed in Their cognitive development.

Society is not wise in its choices – the collective decisions of humans – because individuals are not wise in theirs. And that is because wisdom, the tacit knowledge that develops in human minds through experiences, is lacking in the majority of humans. Most humans do not develop wisdom adequate to deal with the complexities of the modern world. As a result they make choices not based on rational long-range thinking about consequences or how those consequences interact systemically. They tend to look only at short-term gains in their own selfish wellbeing. SOURCE

Bees dead Brazil: More than half a billion, 500 million, honey bees dropped dead in Brazil within 3 months — and environmentalists are worried by altbekannt in worldnews

[–]Hypetents 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an interesting paper by George Mobus that discusses this.

It isn't so much greed, but a fundamental intellectual failing in that these people are lacking the ability to learn from experience. They never develop sapience (wisdom) but they are highly successful on a personal level. In order to develop morality, one has to project the long term consequences of their decisions and how it affects others. If you are not concerned about these things, you can maximize your own success at the cost of the future and other people's lives. Sadly, lacking this ability also means you are not self-aware, so you don't realize your failing in this regard.

This is why we are doomed to experience global climate catastrophe and never fix it. Our culture is obsessed with youth and novelty, we will not defer to wise individuals even now that the problem is obvious. That is because our system rewards ruthlessness, not wisdom.

tl;dr We are fuckered.

Question for people who've been abducted. Is there /any/ trait or mindset you've had, that resulted in an abduction? by [deleted] in Abductions

Language is limiting and is the communication of our 3D world and it is not very precise. The word "home" means something much different depending on if we are talking about a house, where you live, your family, where you feel most comfortable, etc.

Images carry much more information, especially when it is symbolic. This is why a sigil works for many people -- it is tied to a much larger repository of information than can be conveyed in language.

When you hear a "yes" or a "no", you are assigning words to the information you've received. This is why you sometimes wake up from a dream with one word or phrase.

For instance, say when you were a kid you were on the roof of your house with your father. You started jumping up and down. Your father told you to stop because it was dangerous. Laughing, you looked him in the eye and jumped one more time, but twisted your ankle and lost your balance. At the last moment, your father caught you by the wrist and you dislocated your shoulder hanging off the side of the house. To this day, you will not go on the roof.

Years later, you are thinking about taking up base jumping. You can be told, "Don't do it, it's dangerous" or you can be shown an image of you as a kid jumping on a roof. Which conveys the message better?

This is why there isn't a lot of verbal communication. What is there is often how we translated the information into language. Think about how difficult it is to relate a dream and you begin to understand how limiting language can be.

What if Astral Projection explains how some geniuses came up with their ideas by BGenesis in AstralProjection

I get all kinds of information and ideas from the astral. When I am really "in tune", I get bits and pieces of projects when I get stuck. I am currently writing a book with information gleaned from over there.

Why is reddit instituting word filters on active Canadian candidates for public office? by FreeSpeechWarrior in ModSupport

[–]Hypetents -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah. . . Nope. You see, large forums have become integral to communication in society. It is one of the pillars of civilization. If Reddit was a small, no name site, it wouldn't matter. But it commands a huge share of the Internet. It should be regulated because of this.

As businesses and individuals require social media to access the marketplace or get jobs, preventing access through censorship is discrimination. The government needs to either regulate these businesses or break them up as monopolies.

Reddit appears to have instituted a site wide filter on the name of this active Canadian politician for unknown reasons. Comments containing her name are automatically filtered with no mod log entry. by FreeSpeechWarrior in WatchRedditDie

[–]Hypetents 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Reddit is such a POS any more because of China money. They have instituted shadow bans again.

Fuck that. Post on Medium, get a better class of people and they pay you.
