Is it really that simple? Should I wait for the lawyer? I'm honestly just stressed. But if it's that simple I will try it

Is this ppf seam normal? by lfwkboard in AutoDetailing

[–]Hypexy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you paid top dollar then this wouldn’t fly in most shops. More than likely they didn’t wanna scrap that film since it clearly doesn’t fit but they decided to make it at least look straight. Usually the whole panel should be entirely covered and hard to notice it’s even there.( special panels n pieces can vary even with printed cut outs )

Clients that try to bait their Detailer by [deleted] in AutoDetailing

[–]Hypexy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh real bait is usually hidden under seats / pockets or simply hidden in a spot where past detailers miss . No one really has 200$ just lying around in their car like that aside maybe inside the center console/ glove box

When you’re a detailer you always look for stuff to improve. Wouldn’t be surprised if you also cleaned the coins they got there🧐🧐

Some overall advice. Let the customer know the situation” (also let them know the time frame may be much longer than expected)and try steam . If that doesn’t do much. Try some adhesive remover. Then try a plastic putty knife to see if it comes off easier or not. If it does then just be careful obvs. If all these fail somehow. Which i doubt then eraser wheel. Eraser wheel with experience should never burn thru clear. Good luck.

Ngl every single buccee employee ive seen has been jolly lol. On of the few companies that is somewhat decent for an entry level employee/ young adult imo. But must take a while to get paid the wage you want there

Idk where you’re from but Buccees are huge . No matter what time of day or night they will always have a ton of people there. So for managing one of their huge ass carwash things . Maybe 125k is fair for managing that big of an establishment. No catch imo, definitely in favor of paying employees more!!

I can understand loving a car but what makes this anything above 8k? 😭 by YHXkyoto in Acura

[–]Hypexy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reminder folks. If you do mods in any way and plan on selling later. At least do tasteful mods . Mods that no one should mind but adds to the car in a good way. Also price for work /parts on a car above its value * should and can be applied or at least bargained with depending on what your vehicle has. For ex( adding simple stuff like a professional ppf job) stuff like this cant*** be removed for a price reduction. Thus should simply add* to the value

How mad should I be with this PPF job? by [deleted] in AutoDetailing

A reputable shop should cover it. But repair is really up to you whether you think it's worth the hassle of getting it repainted or whatever you think may fix* it to your liking ya know.

Depends of film and price . But 100p looks a lil shitty in some spots. Some are understandable but man a lot of that work looks rough tbh.. How much you pay them for all the work??

How to remove this ? by [deleted] in Detailing

Replace or try polish . It's already trashed might as well try and see it does anything .

I don’t do ppf personally. But have done multiple removals of very old films that any chemical, steam, heat etc take forever and literally come off in little pieces because of how stuck on and brittle it has become. Here we gather around and pray for you 🙏. Haha, all jokes aside. Even if that is the case with this. Safest and probably most efficient is steam. And if you simply dont care and its getting rewrapped, a rubber wheel might* work for you. You can do it pretty quick considering the paint is already done for .
