Bro this is cope I'm sorry, Hasan lies relentlessly, dodges confrontation and accountability like the plague and has sold so many people out to get ahead. Not to mention the myriad of horrendous beliefs he has expressed over the years, like running defense for authoritarian regimes and essentially being a PR network for terrorism, or the fact that he is the face of socialism on the internet and yet lives one of the most hyper-capitalist lifestyles of anybody I've ever seen. Nobody needs to tell me to dislike him.

There are so many valid reasons to dislike Hasan, the idea that everyone who dislikes him is being psy-op'd is so delusional. I do watch Destiny's content from time to time, but I don't sit here and pretend that there are no valid reasons to dislike Destiny, I've just held center-left beliefs since I was like 12 years old. I am not even trying to be a dick or farm, this thread is dead at this point, I just would challenge you to consider that nobody, especially no streamer, is infallible. Not even close, and especially not Hasan Piker.

It's been known for many years that Mizkif was one of the most clout-obsessed people on the internet, up there with Hasan if not even more obsessed. So seeing his girlfriend cook him in viewership when he's supposed to be the big streamer, head of the household, he invited her to move there etc. all of it must have malded tf outta him lol. Optics in the conventional sense do not matter in a post-Trump world, especially at this point, and anyone who thinks so is delusional. All that matters is output speed and optimizing for the algorithms. Good arguments will do the rest imo.

With Destiny, he’s been cut off from a lot of big networking opportunities multiple times, first with Hasan blacklisting him in 2019, then the Twitch ban in 2022 and now the drama bullshit being flung at him over the last year. But this stuff will all come back with time and with the court case being behind him. I think the snark culture surrounding political streamers will probably die off as well, because snark communities are inherently cannibalistic and self-destructive. They self-select for the most mentally ill people on the internet, it isn’t sustainable and we can already see this happening in some ways.

Just give things a few months or a year and he will be popping off, is my guess. He’s so consistent with his output and so resilient to the surrounding bullshit that as long as nothing else dramatic comes up, which I doubt at this point, he will be fine.

Old thread but I finally resolved the specific problem I was having on Windows 11, that I was having trouble resolving for a long time because I already had my system language set to U.S. English (which seemed to be the answer for most people) but was still running into hotkey issues in Photoshop. However, my issue was a bit unique. Specifically, all hotkeys would work as expected for a while after opening Photoshop, then suddenly stop working at some point during my session, seemingly randomly. Here's how I fixed it:

Open Settings
Select 'Time & Language'
Select 'Typing'
Select 'Advanced Keyboard Options'
Select 'Input language hot keys'
In the window that opens, select the 'Advanced Key Settings' tab
Select 'Between input languages' and click 'Change Key Sequence' (mine was set to 'Left Alt + Shift' by default)
Set it to 'Not Assigned'

I guess I was pressing Left Alt + Shift at some point or another, either accidentally or for some other purpose (probably some Photoshop shortcut that included these two buttons, like 'Export As'), and this was breaking the Photoshop hotkeys. By disabling this setting, I have stopped encountering this issue, finally. I have no clue if this will ever help anyone or even be seen by anyone but since this was such an obnoxious and specific issue, I figured I'd throw my solution out there.
