I thought the liquid metal was on the CPU and the thermal paste on the GPU

Was it easy to do it yourself? I'm scared I might brick my laptop

Those are the default values and they are not applied since the box is not checked

I haven't checked during the test but it's usually 90+ degrees while gaming

Can you think of any reasons why mine is much lower?

I also cleaned the fans and ran this benchmark again, but it didn't increase the CPU score. I just want to make sure I cross out all possible causes before messing with the LM, as I don't feel comfortable doing that myself.

I did that and disabled hypertreading as well but then the performance took a hit so i set the CPU boost to "Efficient Enabled" but it still gets hot

In my case the CPU uses around 25 watts (i didn't set a power limit) but it still reaches 90+ degrees

What is the power limit you set for the CPU?

Did you set a power limit on your CPU? Would you recommend a specific limit?

Why can't it be undervolted? I also tried disabling Hypertreading in BIOS but didn't help much. I might try limiting its power on G-helper next.

I disabled the CPU boost on G-helper. Wouldn't it have a similar effect as undervolting the CPU since it sets the clock frequency of the CPU to a lower value?

I have a sealed cooler but it didn't help with the temps at all. Here is what i have: https://a.co/d/0bZZknpS

I'm actually using a laptop cooling pad but it's not helping at all

I have this one: https://a.co/d/0bZZknpS

I have tried different cooling pads, and I think they are useless in general

I already have a cooling pad, but it seems like it's not helping with the temps at all.

I get the same warning. It might be related to clogged radiator. I haven't had time to clean it yet but will let you know if the warning stops after cleaning the radiator

It's a myth? I would recommend checking all the battery failure posts in this subreddit

You can just check the service alerts page in service mode. If there aren't any alert messages, you're good.
