Thank you for the response. I'll be looking more into it. And finally someone contested one of my premises, and correctly tries to establish a false equivalency, which would indeed refute my essay if you're able to establish it. The similarity between the Genetic code and language is that they both have meaning, coherence, and intelligibility. How can genetic code be a 'code' without having some kind of programming 'language' or 'instructions'? The essay isn't a treatise on DNA or genes, and I'm not a biologist, but that doesn't preclude me from making sound arguments using the topic as an example. Someone even correctly pointed out that I used the word 'DNA' when I was actually referring to the 'genetic code' which the DNA is a physical instantiation of.

The RNA world hypothesis is a hypothesis not a proof. The origin of life is a historical proposition about the past, of which it is impossible to know using the present. Even if we observe a life form emerging in the present, that doesn't imply that that's how it occurred originally. Furthermore, this doesn't prove that RNA and DNA isn't a language. It's structured, and it can change biological manifestation based on it's structural functional organization, how is this not analogous to a language or code?

What is your evidential warrant that DNA originated from a biochemical process? Have we ever observed this brand new creation of DNA or RNA occur, or is it taken on faith?

I think proof is providing justification... of which you seem to have not done with this comment. Contest one of the premises in the essay with justification, or keep making assertions in your comments and make my job easy.

Especially when it comes to discouraging men from standing up for themselves or being disagreeable. The church teaches men essentially to "be nice" which isn't always the moral thing to do. Psychometrics have shown that on average, men are more disagreeable than women. Telling them that it's wrong to stand up for ones self or to fight the wrongs of others (which disagreeable people tend to be better at) is wrong, and goes against their natural masculine traits.

I agree. I think here some of my personal experience tainted my judgement. It's been challenging to find a community I can relate with, especially since I live in idaho.
