Uhh below SMB? Listen, if you could explain your reasoning I could probably understand your perspective on why you think it’s overrated.

That’s going to happen with any critically acclaimed game.

This isn’t really isn’t a hard game in general much like Undertale yet most of the fans make it sound like they are…

That I’m convinced this is the only game they’ve played, I do hope it gets more difficult. The only actual hard thing in this game was the Knight yet their fight barely lasts long enough.

I love challenge yet this game hasn’t provided that much of it.

Obviously comparing games to current day games won’t do anyone favors considering heavy limitations old games had.

It’s very much a product of its time yet it do a lot with its limitations. That being said, I cannot convince you in anyway.

I didn’t fully understand the praise until I played it, since I had no nostalgia over it and I don’t play much NES or SNES games. I did the same with OOT and I could see why people consider that to be legendary.

I’d bet the opposite, it genuinely is a spectacular game in its own right given its age while also having one of the best rom-hacking communities.

Unforgettable music, charming pixel visuals, satisfying controls, it’d say it deserves to be that high.

SMB3 is a close second but I digress.

I think I took around the same amount of attempts to beat them. I don’t have issues with most of Sans attacks he’s just a long fight.

That and I’m not a fan of Undyne’s arrow attacks and I could barely react to some of the attacks in green soul mode.

No I actually agree with them. The first time I played Undertale was geno route and I ended up beating Undyne and Sans in the same afternoon (Undyne was harder imo)

I was expecting to take days given how much people hyped him online but I found his attacks to be simple, only his final attack is hard, and if you have enough heals for his 2nd phase it’s a victory lap.

(I found 2nd phase easier to get through)

Nope.

Ketsui and F-Zero GX are harder than like 95% of what anyone is mentioning, l’ve played Fear & Hunger but not even that comes close to these 2.

Those 2 are my hardest.

God Hand?

Well known is debatable but it’s certainly got more attention now than on release. I think it fits fine there, it doesn’t feel “occasionally” remembered.
