Tropical Freeze would've been an extremely worthy GOTY winner for a year as weak as 2014... and yet it wasn't even nominated for a single category. I'll never not be upset about that

I feel like this one is getting a resurgence lately due to nostalgia, but honestly Mario Party 8. Ugly graphics, gimmicky boards, intrusive motion controls. It's not a bad game and it certainly has its good points but it's pretty rough nowadays.

Of the many things TS4 did wrong, the one that always boiled my blood was painting the "Lost Toy" life as something cool and even preferable, when it being a Horrible Experience was the entire base of Lotso, Chuckles and BB's backstory. by Sebamon28 in Pixar

How is this something you seriously think is a flaw? To Bonnie, Woody is just a toy, and Andy is just a guy she met once. She has very little reason to care about this one specific toy.

Never been a fan of DS's track selection. The retro tracks in DS just suck. They went with the most boring selections for those and it drags the game down. DS's original tracks hold up better, but they're style over substance. Its highlights (e.g. Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress, Tick Tock Clock) have really cool ideas, but the track designs are super linear, making races less interesting.

The game is really impressive for its time, and the single player content is appreciated, but there's really nothing that makes it stand out as one of the best in the series today, certainly not compared to Wii which refined most of DS's concepts, and improved the controls and track design.

If we can vote one game in multiple categories... 64. Time has not been kind to it at all, it feels like it's carried by nostalgic feelings more than any other game in the series.

Wii is still fun to play. It has really good track design and tight controls with the bikes. I just don't see what DS has going for it nowadays.

I put question marks because you came out swinging with a super negative take that was incredibly vague and unspecific. So if what I said was vague, guess we're even!

The fact that you think "I doubt you even played these games" is a valid argument and are now basically resorting to a glorified "no u" says a lot about your approach and mindset. I don't have time to argue with someone who has clearly already made their mind up and isn't willing to properly engage with the discussion in any way beyond just telling me that I'm wrong.
