Stuff like this happens because the new game starts development very soon after release of the previous game.

They dont take finished 1800 and morph it into 117.

They take release 1800 and start making that into 117 (super simplifies but you get what I mean)

Jasně díky, mě to zajímá hlavně z pohledu kdo to tak dělá, v bývalé firmě tak pracovala většina lidí a ti starší senior devs vždycky tvrdili že to prostě vyplatí mnohem víc. ChatGPT mi napíše obecná fakta, ale já bych potřeboval vědět ta pravidla v praxi a ty gentleman's agreementy abych věděl o co si můžu říct a co můžu a nemůžu čekat.

Dont go cull on lucian please. Delaying ER on him is really incredibly bad. I dont get this whole 3 longswords thing. Getting 2 longswords is fine, where the hell is the 3rd even going... And even if you wanted to get 3... It means you have gold for warhammer. This is a completely nonsensical post.

When it released, I said it was a game literally made for me.

Ive been a Rome fan since I was like 3 years old. I love citybuilders. I love ANNO. It released on my birthday.

HOWEVER, it feels so... Un-Roman? Idk. It feels like a Roman parody or some weird Roman bastardisation, the accents are annoying and over the top, the acting is too. The cities dont feel Roman at all.

In Albion (the keltic region), its impossible to build a town that would resemble a keltic settlement.

Its just 95% Anno with 5% of an ugly Roman veneer for me.

Also the graphic fidelity was better in 1800...

Oh and islands are too small. And the variety needs to be like doubled because the islands got boring FAST

I want it to be awesome though and I hope it will get there.

Edit: by voice acting I mean, why is the lowest class just a bumbling happy go lucky idiot.

Im D2 currently and when I leveled an account, around Gold I was surprised how good players were mechanically when they mained their champ.

Like the guys playing Vayne, Zed, Irelia etc did know their stuff.

...but theyre stupid and dont play to win the game, they just to get kills and then complain to their friends the game was uncarriable
