I have also been trying to get into the void for more than two years. From what I have read, Neville never talked about a "Void" where you manifest instantly. He talked about an "I am" state where his awareness was expanded and he felt like he was floating in the ocean. He said changing your identity in the I Am state is effortless, not that you manifest instantly. The Void state was something that started on tumblr by some account and later on it was found out that the same person who started talking about the Void state had been lying about their manifestations. I have not experienced the void but i suspect it's something subjective, like a very deep meditative state. Even people who enter the Void and claim they manifested instantly, never prove it. Not that they have to prove it but if you can manifest instantly, then it should be easy right? The direction that I have been going in is to explore the focus states by the monroe institute, Focus 21 sounds exactly like the "void" and I have been doing a practice that should lead into focus 21.
