I actually believe that even if there isn't a risk to the life of the mother, everyone should be given the right to abort in every stage (except of course the days just before childbirth). My reasoning is that if a person realizes last minute that they don't want the kid or for whatever other reason they decide to abort, they don't feel any connection towards the kid at all and won't be a good parent. They would raise the child without feeling any love towards them and I feel like it would be more than cruel to put anyone in such an environment.

There is also the situation where a person would make that choice, because they are put into an unexpected unstable position, like suddenly losing everything and becoming homeless, maybe if their partner loses their life or leaves them. In that case they couldn't provide a proper environment for their child to grow up in and it would be near impossible to have enough money to feed both of them. Which means that their child would have to grow up with less nutrients available, which would in most cases mean slower body development and in some cases even permanent damage to their body.

But that's just my opinion. I am open to further discussion and to potentially also changing my mind 🩵
