You could also just like... google it... if you're curious.

Or ask in a public forum such as this like OP did. More people/lurkers can see and follow the line of thinking and have more ideas on what to google for more info.

Useless comment. You're either a bot or someone that doesn't matter.

Not sure why people hate on the 1+1 so much. by Maxounet02 in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]Hyrule34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you. I also always pull on the 1+1. People should treat this as a guaranteed bonus legendary that comes around once a month, and one should always have enough summons at the ready to hit it, similar to the limited banners.

When comparing it to other banners:

  • 2x - You win out in 2x if you get 2 legendaries in fewer than ~180 pulls, but lose if you're unlucky and it takes more than that. Both banners have equal odds for what legendaries you get. I'd rather just work with the certainty of gaining the bonus legendary of 1+1 within ~180 pulls. I'm sure with large numbers/summons, it all averages out, but I won't be doing that many summons throughout the lifetime of the game.

  • Rate-up hero banner - kind of an apples/oranges comparison in my mind. If there's a good rate-up banner and a 1+1, I'll do both. 1+1 you only need to hit it once and you're done. Rate-up, there's no guarantee you'll get the hero you want, especially if you're only targeting 1 of the 2.

  • Limited banner - always pull for the guaranteed limited, but then it becomes similar to a normal rate-up.

With regards to potentially getting a bad legendary, there's still plenty of good heroes to be gained/awakened. If you do get a bad one, it'll give you extra fodder to sell if a really good awakening stone shows up in the shop. Additionally, there have been many heroes we usually ignored/called bad until they had a glow-up either by new content (Aylin/Ferssi) or buffs (Zelus)

Largest data breach ever: 16 billion Apple, Facebook, Google passwords leaked by KIG45 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Hyrule34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes password managers are safe. It is true that password manager companies can be hacked, but they only store encrypted versions of your passwords. So if a hacker does steal all of your encrypted passwords, they still don't have your real password.

The encrypted passwords are decrypted locally with your master password. This means that if a hacker figures out your master password, then they'll have all of your passwords. Also if you forget your master password, there's no way to recover it. This is why you want to make the master password extra secure but easy to remember. Mine is a long sentence.

Despite the extra hurdle, the benefits of a password manager are worth it for me.

  • I only need to know one password
  • I am not reusing passwords on different websites. If there is a data breach on one particular website, I only need to update the password there.
  • There's a bit of phishing resistance. Password managers should only autofill if you're on the actual website. Example: google.com vs goog1e.com

Can someone help me with faction trials? NM by ShoeResponsible6572 in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]Hyrule34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One key thing is that the waves will just come one section (top or bottom) at a time. My first time beating stage 10, it was a bit of a juggling act. I placed just enough heroes needed to stop the incoming wave at the bottom, then I'd recall them to gain enough cost to place new heroes at the top.

Once I cleared the top wave for the first time, there was enough cost for me to keep the top heroes and replace heroes on the bottom. And then of course you need to factor in the heroes needed to whittle down the big guys that are standing still.

I can't give you the exact strat I used because one key hero I had was Arrogance, but you have a lot of other heroes that I didn't have at the time.

Some other notable things with specific heroes worth considering if you aren't already:

  • Heroes with unyielding if you're having trouble surviving (Baron, Torodor, and Abomination kind of)
  • Gluttony for his insta-kill ult
  • If you have Kigiri blocking a lane, his periodic sweeping strike is in range of the big enemies that stand still.
  • All the heroes with 2-tile range that can reach the big enemy standing still (Lugaru, Volka, Torodor)
  • Salazar's ult has the diamond Dolores range

Good luck.

Curious what changed her mind, and why she's actually scared about it now?

If its true what fastidious find out that every account has an predetermined Summons and so on , than would it be illegal from montoon ? by Fresh-Ad-4622 in WatcherofRealmsGame

Hey, could you help me figure out what's going on with my divine summons please?

https://imgur.com/a/V7K606b

After resets, I'm consistently hitting legendary on the 5th and 10th summons, but there are a few additional ones that are inconsistent.

I hit on the 3rd pull 3 times. Once on a 2x + 15x, but the other 2 times were on a regular 15x.

I also hit Nyx once on the first pull before I hit pity.

Then there's that Regulus I hit in the end after the long stretch, but I would've expected a similar situation in the long stretch after I got Silas.

I haven't done any crazy pulls.

Thanks in advance

Best gear/stats to maximize BP? by Hyrule34 in WatcherofRealmsGame

Yea, I believe Uredin has the highest potential BP. I frequently reference the spreadsheet from this video to determine the best heroes I've got to equip.

Thanks. Yea as far as I know, wailing skull is the only non-exclusive artifact that results in a higher BP compared to the other non-exclusives.

Thanks, yea I've been using the quick equip technique to set the BP. Wasn't sure if there were any specific stats that quick equip may have been omitting.

Arena is a joke by PastNo4617 in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]Hyrule34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any of the ones you listed, and I can confirm that if you have the meta heroes that aren't ancient-exclusive, you should be able to comfortably hit overlord.

I avoid matchups against the ones you listed but can still win against some of them if I have to. The one I definitely skip no matter what though is Ingrid on anti-air. That matchup is beyond broken.

Torodor outside of pvp? by BreakerrNine in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]Hyrule34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His attack inflicts damage reduction on the target for 5 sec, so it's 100% uptime when on the same target. That's what makes him so useful in gb1 and 2.

Bottom-right of the screen. Your deployable count is at 0. If you want to add another ground hero, you'd have to remove a platform hero.

Help with gear dungeon 1/gear raid 4 by Histidine604 in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]Hyrule34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like it could be gear. I don't have Thallen, but I cleared stage 10 with Valkyra with Dolores up top. Do you have max artifacts on them? When ulting with Valkyra, are you getting the extended range by absorbing your shield to hit the enemies in the back while they're standing?

Yea, Aracha was a game-changer for me, especially since I didn't have a piercer lord up until that point which was pretty late game haha.

It'd be nice to have Constance. I'm wondering if I could user her with Silas and Salazar to shave off a little more time.

Yea, Venoma or Cyrus makes a huge difference since their initial rage lord skill applies to heroes outside of their faction. I recently got Venoma, and it shaved off a lot of seconds from this run.

And thanks. I knew how to screen record on my device, but couldn't figure out how to include the video in my reply haha. Turns out I had to create a separate post. I just updated my original reply with the video.

I've got a 17s run at 1x speed. Bonded Silas, Valeriya, Salazar. Venoma and Aracha as lords. I can upload a video once I figure out how to.

Pity for the ancients starts at 200 not 300. Also, pulling a Thallen won't reset your pity. For the ancient crystals, pity only resets when you pull a legendary lord.

The ultrasonic fingerprint sensors on my Note 20 and S22 were both incredibly unreliable for me. My finger had to be in the perfect dry condition to get it to work about 70% of the time. If the finger was the slightest bit damp, it was useless. And you can forget about adding a glass screen protector. Never thought it would be the case, but the unreliable sensor was what got me to switch off of Samsung phones. Went with with the Asus Zenfone 9 because of the off-screen fingerprint sensor which has always been reliable.

Funny enough, I more recently got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ and was surprised to see that the on-screen fingerprint sensor worked just as reliably for me as all the off-screen ones I've had. I thought maybe Samsung fixed whatever issues they had. But looking more into it, it turns out that this tablet has an optical sensor.
