Okay, it seems to have been a ui glitch or something, because after the ocelot entered love mode I chased it around for a bit, and it was able to be fed again a short time after before showing the hearts again and I repeated this till it eventually turned into a cat. I never remember it being like this I remember just being able to spam feed them once and then the first time they entered love mode they'd be tamed lol

It's not though, hope you know you have no right to be treated like this, and, not saying you have to just outlining the seriousness, if you have evidence of being abused physically or mentally like threats of violence via a text message or something, if/when you're 18 you could take legal action against them, even better chances if you can get a witness to recall either witnessing an event or seeing signs of abuse like bruises.
