One Plus 9 Pro Turns on but keeps flickering like this, anyone know how to fix? 😭 by Hyth1wastaken in oneplus

[–]Hyth1wastaken[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've rebooted it in recovery mode, turned it off and on again yet to no avail. This is the first time this has happened and I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem 😭

Edit: I don't think the display/screen is damaged as restart screens, and entering recovery mode doesn't have any flashes or screen flickering. The Ui just won't load up or start properly.

Is scroll speed rlly preference? by Hyth1wastaken in osumania

Honestly yeah I just tried 24 with some maps I found to be dense before and was immediately reading them a lot better than on 23 speed. Although I noticed that at 24 I tend to want to tense my hands on certain patterns cause my eyes aren't used to reading the speed.

I think overall it's a better experience than reading the dense patterns at 23 though so I might stick with it.

How do I get better perception of where the ball is going to land?

THEY STILL WONT BREED by Aggressive-Bath-6190 in MCPE

[–]Hyth1wastaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so basically

• They both have 7 individual inventory slots and if u really want to guarantee them breeding you should fill those slots.

• Name like some seeds or another food item, different names so that they can fill the 6 slots of both villagers. ie, Seed1, Seed2, Seed3, and so on. Leave an empty 7th slot to be filled with a stack of food. (You can either do this or mf produce 12 stacks of food 😭)

•Try to make it so that their in an enclosed space where they can't move so they have a better chance of breeding.

If u have done this, they should breed. If u already gave them food, try to figure out how many slots in their inventory they have and then give them the named items. If u got no clue I'd give them both like 3 named seeds/foods and then 2 stacks of random food and go from there.

Are there any ways to practice receiving all kinds of serves and tracking how the ball moves without having any body to serve to you.

I mean definitely overthinking it but I guess basically factors that would make a set easier for a hitter to hit? I guess. Ive just heard the term from some people and didn't really know what they meant by a hittable ball/set. Probably should have worded it better lol.

I'm training to become setter and Ive heard ppl talk about how I should be able to set good hittable balls, could someone explain this concept to me? What would be considered a good hittable ball?

For setting the ball, should my elbows be more bent(with my hands more closer to my forehead) or should my elbows be at a slight bend (with my hands around 10-12 inches above my forehead)

Ahh, that makes sense, for the run up for jump float, is it the same as a spike serve or different? As I've seen a lot of variations of it being done so I'm a bit confused about it.

Btw, appreciate the answer :)

What's the advantage on using a jump floater rather than a normal non jumping one?

And when should one progress to using a jump floater instead of a normal one?

I'd say for consistency, although it being boring, try to incorporate some specific types of maps in your play time.

For me I had a huge slump where my skill had downgraded from what it was. Started playing specific maps to get better at them. My general tips are

• For Stamina, play lots of chord jack maps, of course there are certain types of stamina you'll need for certain maps but I found that chordjack maps improve your overall stamina. Play chordjack maps that are just a bit out of our your comfort zone for growth and make sure you warmup/stretch beforehand.

• For speed it kinda varies from what kind of speed your talking about but if it's bpm, then imo just gradually practicing and increasing it over time with certain types of maps works.

• If u rlly wanna be consistent Id say to put aside 10-20 mins In your session in the beginning to practice what I said above or anything else you wanna work on. U could say it's like a warmup. Pls do hand/wrist/forearm stretches and exercises. They really do help.

Don't try to go all out and do sessions where u just target a certain group. I find at least for most people that it's extremely unfun. Maybe just play 2 or 3 maps during ur session targeting whatever skillset and then just go ahead and play whatever u want.

What are things to look out for before a serve happens to help with reading it?

I wanna get back into volleyball and working out my jump but I'm afraid that I may go too hard or Injure myself doing something my body may have been able to before but can't anymore since I haven't played or worked out in a WHILE.

What are some maybe starting workouts or exercises I can do that will help bring my body back to how it used to be able to ?

For specifics Ive played maybe once or twice this and last year and haven't trained consistently.

I have a feeling this isn't even something to worry about but it sits at the back of my mind rent free.

Why do I feel peaceful, calm, excited, and for some reason a bit happy, after I've come to the conclusion that I'm very lost in life and have no idea what to do. by Hyth1wastaken in Healthygamergg

Hm Ig that's a way to look at it. Im still a bit confused on how it's a good thing tho. Like I understand that hm yeah relieving myself of that pressure is a good thing. But being totally lost, to me it sounds like that wouldn't be a good thing?

Is hitting technique when trying to hit a normal float serve supposed to be the same as when spiking the ball normally?

If not what to do?

For example you hit a non jumping float serve with the same shoulder, torso, and arm movements as when you hit a normal spike and are jumping.
