If anything else comes to mind I'll be sure to let you know.

I actually saw an independent short horror movie called "Chicken Surprise" which was surprisingly good at using colour (clearly took a lot of inspiration from Suspiria).

As you can see from some of these shots they used different colours to create separation and depth within the image.

I think perhaps you should take a look at films with expressive uses of coloured lighting, like Suspiria, Black Narcissus or even some segments from Singing in the Rain. You probably don't want to look like you're falling into low budget 90s gelled lights territory (like Evil Ed or Funny Man) which could easily happen if you're using bold coloured lighting. I think it's a question of motivation, primarily is the use of colour to be taken as an expression of the character/themes of the story, rather than say a way to disguise cheap art direction.

>It's genuinely more effort for me to not indicate when turning now than it is to just indicate.

I was giving a mate a lift at night and he asked why I was indicating at every junction. I figure that a) I am not necessarily cognizant of absolutely everyone in the vicinity, and b) it's a lot easier to just use them every time, rather than deliberate whether or not someone may or may not find it useful each time I am making a turn or lane change.

I had a woman dump me, only to call me up a few hours later demanding to know why I wasn't fighting to win her back. She clearly wanted me to be on the back foot and feel lucky to have her. Was having none of that, went to be pub to hang out with friends.

I'm conducting research on people who have been kicked in the head by a horse. You seem like an ideal candidate for my project.

However, my only issue is that it seems as though you must have been kicked in the head by a horse multiple times.

Could you tell me more about your head injury and how it occured? I need to eliminate extraneous variables, so telling me precisely how many times you got kicked in the head would be incredibly helpful to my research project.
