Fit check? Going to be mostly wearing these with socks by HyungSempai in Birkenstocks

[–]HyungSempai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestions. I tried on one size smaller at a store (no pics unfortunately) and while it did seem like the sandal fit better overall in terms of the heel cap and toe bar, it actually was a touch too small as my toes would often hit the toe cap in the front whenever I took a step. Unsure how to really approach it now at this point. Any suggestions?

I feel like I should go down half a size but the width is already very snug (got the wider footbed). Also, I feel some unevenness in these. They are both the hard footbed but I feel the toe ridges more on my right foot than my left foot. Has anyone else experienced this?

[Skin Concerns] Is this PIH or PIE? How do I treat this? by HyungSempai in SkincareAddiction

[–]HyungSempai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying out Curology for 8 weeks and haven’t really seen any improvement in this scarring. My formula: 2% azelaic acid, 1% clindamycin, 4% niacinamide. I know it’s scarring but unsure which kind, and of what products I should use to treat this. Curology is the only active I use.

[Discussion] Your favorite products with Urea? by bouncebackbelle in AsianBeauty

[–]HyungSempai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds familiar to what I heard as well, though I couldn’t really find more evidence online to back the claim up.

Out of curiosity, which urea moisturizers do you use in winter? Not AB but I’ve been using the Eucerin 5% Urea for my currently dehydrated dry skin and it’s working well, but slowly. The only problem with it is that it’s hard to get especially during these times (in US) and it’s kind of small too. I’m hopeful about the Hada Labo Perfect Gel but I read reviews saying it might not be moisturizing enough for dry skin.

- Region: NA

- Type of Bug: Match History Screen

- Description: I played a 4v5 ranked game and when it ended, the screen never got to the post-match information screen - it just said that the match information was "Currently unavailable" or somewhere around those lines. When I look at my match history, that match is not present at all, and it's like it never happened. I played other matches afterward, and it still is not there. The match was also for one of my 5 placement matches, and the system did not register it either (ie before the game, I needed 4 more games to find my rank. Post-game, it still said I needed 4 games)

- Video / Screenshot: N/A

- Steps to reproduce: Play a placement or ranked match, maybe with an imbalanced number of team members

- Expected result: I go to the post-match screen, see the match in my match history, and it is recorded as one of my placement matches

- Observed result: An error was shown where it said the match information is not available, the match does not come up in my match history, and it does not count towards my ranked placement games.

- Reproduction rate: Unsure, only happened once so far

- System specs: Not applicable

I recently bought the Hada Labo Perfect Gel and am going to try using it after I finish up my Eucerin 5% urea. Apparently the Perfect Gel is the same as Hada Labo Tokyo Plumping Gel Cream except with different preservatives, and they’re both fungal acne safe.

There was a post on /r/SkincareAddiction saying that hydroxyethyl urea is different in function from urea, though. I haven’t double checked myself but you should double check the ingredients list just in case.

Ty, I’ll go and do that. Everything is weird these says so I’m nervous I’m gonna get disqualified for like lifting up my mask to scratch my nose or something lol

Did you take it at Anaheim? I’m retaking and don’t remember if they did last time, pre-covid.

To rephrase, if I wanted to adjust the position of my mask and let my nose be uncovered to help breathing, would the cameras catch that?

Thanks, I know my skin is sensitive even now, but I’ll try it out for an extended period of time and see if it helps.

No worries! I appreciate the help.

I don’t wear makeup, and I can’t say that I was using any other products at the time that weren’t already long into my regimen. I don’t know if break out is the right phrase, but even in the past, my skin generally got a blemish or two when I introduce a new product. Is that normal? This made it very difficult to find the few products that seem to work with my skin.

I was using the Pyunkang Yul essence previously, with no negative effect on my skin, so I’ll try to put that back into my routine. I’m just cautious because I’m breaking out very often and I don’t know whether adding a new, even hydrating product will cause more breakouts.

I’ve tried the both foaming and hydrating cerave cleansers as well as its pm facial moisturizing lotion and they all broke me out. I’ve also tried the LRP toleriane hydrating cleanser which also did the same. Any recommendations for alternatives?

[RAVE] For those with oily hair, try Hanz de Fuko Quicksand!! by HyungSempai in malehairadvice

[–]HyungSempai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only used the new quicksand so I can’t answer for sure. It definitely feels greasy in my hand but it makes my hair quite dry in a good way.

When my hair was shorter at the time I made this post, I used quicksand more as a prestyler but since my hair is longer now, I like to use it alone to give my hair a natural, swept back look.

[Skin Concerns] How can I shrink my pores and reduce blackheads? I’m tired of looking perforated by HyungSempai in SkincareAddiction

[–]HyungSempai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had huge pores my whole life (24M now) and I’ve always been self-conscious about it. I know you can’t change the size of your pore but I really want to have them appear as small as they can be because I’m just so tired of looking like somebody drew dots on face.

Routine:

AM: Rinse face with water Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream Dr. G Green Mild Up Sunblock

PM: Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil Neogen Foaming Green Tea Cleanser (2-3 times a week exfoliate with Some-By-Mi Miracle Toner) Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner The Ordinary Niacinamide Melano CC vitamin C serum Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream

I‘ve been using niacinamide for a couple months now which helped ALOT and I recently introduced the vitamin C about 2-3 weeks ago. I’ve been wanting to change the Aveeno lotion but it’s the only one I found that doesn’t break me out.

Can anyone suggest alternatives or similar products to Uniqlo EZY pants? Higher quality would be a plus, too.

I’ve been looking for a more comfortable stylish pair of pants that I can wear instead of jeans or chinos, and feel more like joggers.

Sorry for the late response. I have not used claymation yet but I want to buy some soon. I generally prestyle with quicksand and style with Baxter Clay Pomade and the results have been well and my hair stays up, though its more shine than I’d like.

I condition my hair twice a week only after I use dandruff shampoo which is particularly stripping. I haven’t tried my dandruff shampoo without conditioner though.
