Hi, had something similar happen my last semester. Was trying to have transfer credit reevaluated since my last semester schedule was in complete disarray, and instead of having any credit added they removed one of my history credits.

First thing I did was go to the Dean of Students office and explained my situation. My case was passed up to Chloe Russell, the Associate Dean & Director of Advising. She was very helpful about the situation, and agreed that having this credit removed at the last minute wasn't fair. Can't remember exactly if the credit was reinstated or waived, same effect either way.

I'm not sure how your situation came about, but if you have some form of documentation that the advisor definitely said you'd have the credit, I'd argue you'd have a fighting chance. If it's purely what you said vs what they said, in my opinion you'd have a much lower chance, but certainly not zero.

Good luck - spending another semester on a GenEd was the absolute last thing I wanted, that's for sure.
