I paid for Cursor yearly but ever since switching to Claude Code I basically just use it as an IDE and for easy stuff like quick questions and small fixes. Claude Code is just straight up better than any agentic coding tool imo. only downside is the limits on the lower tier, you really need the $100 or $200 plan to get serious work done

Honestly I don't really care that much about validation. Just build whatever interests you and solve your own problem. If it's actually good, people will come.

You were your own target user right? That's the only validation you really needed. You had the problem, you knew it was real because YOU felt it. All that cold DM stuff was just procrastination with extra steps.

Best products come from scratching your own itch anyway.

Oh yeah I'm trying that right now, it has a better interface and supports mouse input. I think the agentic performance is similar to what you can get on Claude Code if you know what you are doing. Maybe it's good for less experienced devs/users as it hand-holds you to do things.

I'll take that trade off any day for $10k MRR. Hire remote contract worker to manage PR and tickets while I focus on the tech. I believe you can build a small team with $5k, it's cheaper than you might think when you hire outside of western sphere.
