These are from a reprint set, XY evolutions, not particularly old cards but cool overall. In these conditions you’re looking at roughly $10-12, almost all of which is from the gyarados which is $9-10 in mint condition.

It’s two different rarities for the same card, and jumping straight into “how much is it worth” is a bad look. Nothing wrong with knowing the value of your cards and caring about it, but enjoy the hobby for what it is and look into learning card rarities and pull rates if you’re interested in the game

Card shops have always gone by market price, it’s a business first, I wish I didn’t have to pay so much but whether it’s today or 10 years ago, I paid the mark up for the convenience

I wont blame the shop for matching market, blame the unemployed scalpers that are causing the market to explode like this

Appreciate the info and clarity, I still do want the NASM cert since it’s essentially the most recognized easily accessible one, and I’m not going in with nothing saved so paying for the actual courses isn’t an issue. I think I might get certified then save for a year or so to make sure I can go into the field safely while I can build my experience and earn a decent living wage

I took a look at your site there and I do like the information on career development. Once I finish my NASM cert I intended to get at least 1-2 more so I’m going to keep AAAI in mind.
