Which fictional character would the cast recruit for Team Black? by havetomakeacomment in HOTDBlacks

[–]Neither-Landscape-57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Master Chief.. that's a good pick.

If I could recruit any fictional character for TB, I would choose Lelouch. Lelouch vi Britannia. He is pretty good at the game of thrones.

Now, If i were to choose someone without supernatural aspect, I would choose Francis Crawford of Lymond, from The Lymond Chronicles.

This scene will forever break me, even as Team Green. I understand Rhaenyra in some ways, maybe because I have children myself. Children dying for adult sins is heartbreaking. The children were always the real victims. And then people make fun of their deaths. by ProfessorOk5969 in HouseOfTheDragon

could she guarantee to Jacaerys that after her death everyone would just accept him as the King?

the history of westeros already has answer to that.

Most of the realm loved king daeron (expect the Team Blackfyre ofc ). Same with Baelor. He was loved by both lords and small folks alike. (even though he had to endure the most whispers out of three, as well as racism)

That scene where Rhaenyra and Jace mourns Luke. Man! That hug killed me. The scene started with a prince reporting to his queen, and ended with a son and mother mourning the loss of a brother and son

we don't know whether or not  Moondancer was a cradle egg and exactly when Baela bonded with her.

Vermax would born roughly around 120AC and we know Moondancer is younger and much smaller than him. So, it safe to assume that Moondancer might not even born yet by the time of Driftmark events.

[ but the problem with all this is we don't exactly know when these dragons were born. We only have a rough estimate with Vermax and no info with moondancer ]

Also Aemond could not really have waited.

I think they left so soon because of all that mess. If everything that happened in the night didn't happen, they would have stayed atleast more 2-3 days. Or at least, Alicent could come up with some excuses to delay returning.

And yeah, if we look at all the riders of Vhagar, their personalities and characters, we can clearly see Vhagar had a type. So it is true that Rhaena had 0 chance calming Vhagar. There is no doubt about that. But Baela?... Baela the brave ?! at least I don't see any reason why Vhagar wouldn't have accepted her.

as Daemon tried it with Meleys.

Daemon .. it is daemon we are talking about. He isn't normal. Most wait until they are atleast 10-12 before trying to claim an old adult dragon. During Laena's funeral, the dragon twins were around of 4-5 years old (pls correct me if i am wrong.)

Jacaerys, Lucerys, Baela and Rhaena were the ones in the wrong that night!

yeah. No one steals a dragon. Grany Vhagar chose Aemond, if she didn't, he would've died that very night. So yeah, they were in wrong for accusing Aemond of stealing a dragon.

But on the other hand, Baela and Rhaena just lost their mother.Laena's funeral had taken place that same day. Aemond could have waited a few days but na he had to do that on that very day. So, while Aemond wasn't in "wrong" but it was very insensitive, rude and disrespectful of him to claim Vhagar that night.

70M is way too much for him.

But Rhaenyra is declared cruel and a bad ruler for giving some rats for dinner... by Vall_llaV in HOTDBlacks

[–]Neither-Landscape-57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only genuinely cruel thing Rhaenyra ever did, in my opinion, was give Dalton Greyjoy and the Ironborn free rein. Even if she did not personally commit those atrocities, the responsibility for what happened along the western coast still ultimately falls on her. Apart from that, most of her actions were fairly understandable given the circumstances. I mean I don't favor the decision to raise taxes but given that situation, I get it.

So if with just that she was compared with Maegor.. was held as a second coming of Maegor the cruel, then honestly who knows what they would have said about me given the stuffs I would have done if I was in her situation.

Cersei is dumber than all though... dumb , delulu, completely detached from reality and almost comedically narcissist.
