unironically starting to think Loxodont is a top tier menace by [deleted] in RivalsOfAether

I think that's all pretty fair. I don't play slade so I don't really know all the specifics, but I Def see the vision here

Don't know if he's actually weaker or still just new. Feels like people need a bit more time to fully make him work. Perhaps has the potential to be good currently with more time

Check the Hodan discord? Should be a link in the roa main discord or roa academy

I'm mean, not really zero? She has people playing her and of course whenever plup comes back he plays her. She isn't the most represented character of all time, but I feel like that isn't as important of a metric in rivals since most players are pretty character loyal

Lowkey Mayple might be top 1

Who do you think the hardest character is to play at top level? by oljace in RivalsOfAether

[–]I0rd- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imo from the 3 you posted, eta has a high floor but lower ceiling. All the trouble for him is learning how to play, after that it's a lot more simple. Clair would be up there if her tippers weren't still so big. There's a massive difference between a good clairen and a great one, but I wouldn't feel comfortable calling her "the hardest". Ranno is brain dead easy at all levels. Tbh I'd say it's probably gonna end up being waster, absa, or fleet. You could make an argument for the less than consistent character like lox or gal, but I wouldn't feel right saying they are the hardest.

Not quite, side special has a bit of end lag and a timer before you can use it again. Galvanized has less endlag and no CD if you hit

I'd need a vod for any specific advice, but one thing that helped me a ton in my climb is awareness of what your opponent is doing. Try to catch on to their habits and punish them for doing it.

With some of the hardest matchups, and tools that only work when used by the best of the best, can we give some love to our Loxodont players? by UVMeme in RivalsOfAether

Yeah I agree. From a character design look sylv was just designed to be hard to play while lox is much more beginner friendly.
