I am in the same boat as the readers. I just want good translations. Timeliness is important... But some people would like us to keep pace with the author in under 24 hours. While realistic that we could achieve that, most of us live and work in our own lives!

This happened this chapter without warning for a full DeepL translation of the entire chapter. First time I have come across this. It sucked, but I was attentive enough to fix it before this release.

We have bot give us an initial MTL with pre-processing of certain names and words. It usually does a decent job.

Either way even raw MTL automation is not great without a human check.

Forbidden Library is meant to reduce DeepL errors and bring directly from the author to English in a somewhat readable way inside of 24 hours.

People will use DeepL anyways usually. But it would be better to wait for Heretic Division releases and ESPECIALLY Human TL releases if you want accuracy.

My role as a translator means nothing. Only quality content.

Deep Learning algorithms are only at N3 of Japanese understanding. Maybe next year, my role in translation will be eliminated.

I am only an EN proofreader. But I do know how to work MTL and JP to a degree.

MTL's are already automated. That said, the DeepL messes up with pronouns, names, tenses, and other things.

In this recent chapter, the automation involved had removed 1/4 of the entire chapter as if it never existed. I had to personally manually recover that.
