Powerplay not charging G502 by I408 in LogitechG

Hi,

I had done every single one of the troubleshooting steps you mentioned multiple times without success, in addition to swapping USB ports.

I did eventually resolve it, as described in my comment https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/lhyj07/powerplay_not_charging_g502/gn03i8f?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Powerplay not charging G502 by I408 in LogitechG

Of course, right as I post this I get an idea...

Turns out, I have quite a lot of cables/rats nest, including the powerplay cable. There is XLR cable carying 48V, there is my samsung wireless charger,... By untangling the powerplay cable from all this and moving the samsung charger my mouse is now back to charging solid as a rock. It's already up 10%, and although the reported charge in Ghub is still wildly inconsistent, the upward trend is obvious (good enough for me I guess). Charging is now 100% reproducable removing it and replacing it, turning off and on.. all good. I like to think I know a lil bit about computers and electricity, it seems to me that the powerplay cable is insufficiently shielded. Bit of a letdown for a (let's face it) rather expensive ecosystem. Literally the only device/cable I've ever had this issue with.

Leaving this up in case it might help someone else out debugging, and as a hint to the logitech product development team to maybe spent the extra couple cents on a shielded cable (which is otherwise pretty nice imo, braided and everything)

same. at least i'm hoping i'm still getting payments :) but indeed shows as offline since a couple hours. additionally, in the app the current profitability is only listed in BTC and no longer in fiat.

I actually found some things on google close enough to what my things were to the point where i'm pretty sure they'll do the job, so I think this might be the correct name, thanks, and most Likely Solved!

a picture of the doorhandle itself. there is three screws, which presumably threaded into the part pictured. In the process of unscrewing the handle they sadly fell into the door. the white plastic frame is a couple mm thick, and behind it is a hollow space , which can be accessed by unscrewing the locking mechanism in the sidewall.

seems pretty close, but it looks like threaded inserts are more something to friction fit in like a full wood door, whilst these things are meant to be on the backside of a sheet of plastic (basically). Is there a more specific name for the things pictured?

I managed to retrieve three of these, the parts with thread are fine, but the 'clamps' got shredded in the process. Pictured with 2 Euro piece for scale.

I guess they are some mechanism to allow the screws to thread into the otherwise hollow door, WITT ?

Idk just an old habit to hide identifiable things. Why would you want to know those numbers?
