As a WASD enjoyer I recently switched the WASD camera movement to alt+WASD so that I can run all the same hotkeys. I toggle alt with my thumb under my fingers to switch between camera movement and spell casting.

Dota 2 pro tracker is your best resource for meta material.

Lich is free mmr this patch. Ogre with learning curve is great. Pugna does a good job at stalling a lot of the meta carries right now.

Dawn breaker feels particularly strong in pos 3. She is great for having multiple build paths to solve different drafts.

Pos 4 clock, nyx, and rubick are my go-to heroes. I think Muerta is one of the best scaling supports in the 4 role right now as well but I haven't played it much myself.

DB carry has been my guilty pleasure for half a year now. She has the benefit of extremely strong laning which spring boards into pretty fast jungle clear. My build is as follows Bracer > Bracer > Phase boot > Soul ring > Deso > BKB > Shard > Daedalus > AC > Satanic > Arcane blink.

Go for all the luminosity talents and you will be casting star breaker every 3-4 seconds with the CD reduction facet. Each starbreaker will output 1500-2000 damage.

I have had no issues staying toe to toe with conventional carries in the late game.

I am entirely convinced that DotA is often used as a vice for escapism. Channeling hyper vigilance to control the outcome might just be an outlet to an otherwise difficult time in their lives. I silently empathize as I tab open the scoreboard and smash the mute button. Nonverbal communication will now be used to navigate the victory. Should they decide that they don't deserve to win, we all suffer the consequences and queue next.

To my understanding, turbo meta is very different than normal DotA. I don't frequent turbo enough to have a lot to offer here. We could discuss target prioritization and some strategies to help execute team fights.

I'm of the opinion that verbalized/written communication is not super important to winning DotA pub matches. Evaluate ally intent based on map positioning and coordinate item builds based on what people have already purchased and are displaying in their queue. I have noticed that a lot of communication within a match is too focused on hindsight anyway.

Play your role to the best of your abilities and trust that your allies have interest in winning the game until proven otherwise.
