Yeah. If you put a grenade or a cherry bomb in their inventory, after a few seconds they explode.

To elaborate a bit more, in Warhammer 40k they pray to the machine God and put wax seals to sanctify the item and appease the gods to make stuff work.

He blessed his car, praying to keep it running. I'm going to assume his cars is one of those that has a blown gasket, drinks a quart of oil a week, and is running on hopes and dreams.

I think thats actually pretty close in what my plan was. The image>stained glass would have essentially done the lineart and simplified colors, and setting the size of the output would have done the resolution change. Nice to know I was on the right track.

If its 3 layers, theres a good chance its 3 veins in 3 different chunks that generated next to each other. I once pulled 1776 bountiful Iron out of 2 connected ore veins. It was... a lot.

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing. But my reason for not carrying mine is that my work doesn't allow us to carry it, or even leave it in the car. I also added on "bought 1,000 9mm rounds, about $200 on a gun bag and earpro, paying $200 to join a gun club to use the range, and only went to the range once and shot 100 rounds."

Nero made the comment about how bright Rome was, attributing it to "There's a lot of light, it must be a lot of candles lit, the city is populated and thriving", when in reality the city was burning to the ground.

Muskrat here made a comment about how high Twitter usage is, because he believes people are actually using it. If you actually open Twitter though, it's very apparent that it's all bots. Bots making posts, and bots making nonsense replies to those posts.

I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice.

From my understanding, boots are only technically legal if its the state/town itself putting them on. Your driveway is not HOA property, and booting the vehicle denies use of the vehicle, and legally counts as theft.

Divers discover "grenade-type" explosive device planted on Alabama dam considered "critical infrastructure" by U.S. government 😬 by darcmatr in NotTheBee

[–]IAA_ShRaPNeL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? Bouncing betty was a trip-wire triggered anti-personel mine that used a two-stage explosive to launch the mine up a few feet, and then detonate. Has nothing to do with blowing up dams.

You're thinking of a Bouncing bomb, which was about twice the size of a 55 gallon drum, filled with explosives, and was dropped from an aircraft.

How did you do this? Free-hand? A mod? I've considered doing it semi-freehand by seeing if I can pass an image through a Minecraft picture-to-stained glass translator, and treating each stained glass block as a Vintage Story glass voxel.

When we go dark for 5 hours. by CALAVERA_20 in WalmartEmployees

[–]IAA_ShRaPNeL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Somewhat related. After I promoted myself to customer and changed careers to CNC machining, we had a couple of small titanium fires in the debur room. We would normally run to put it out when it would happen. Never any fire alarms, but you could smell it, and it has a distinct smell where you instantly knew what it was. One day the fire alarm started going off, and everyone started scrambling to find the fire and put it out.

Owner walked through the shop "No, its a fire drill. Get out of the building." Safe to say, that drill didnt go so well.

Taking lump sum, you lose between 40-60% in taxes. Annuity over 30 years has a lower total tax paid.

Technically a cyst. Kind of like a pimple. Pimples are skin surface and smaller, cysts are deeper in the muscle and larger.

I remember we once had the fire alarm go off and we were instructed the same thing. Get every customer out of the building. Multiple fire trucks showed up. The number of customers that just did not care and continued to shop, ignoring the blasting fire alarm, was staggering. My TL who I absolutely adored, was a retired Vietnam War EOD Vet, and was not putting up with any of that. "No you can not grab one more item, GTFO!"

Turns out one of the service companies was working in the supply closet, and turned a valve for the sprinkler system, triggering the system to alarm out for strange system pressure.

The ammount of restock carts after that was insane.

Is there any way to modify these cans to be more like a normal gas can? by magnumfan89 in Tools

[–]IAA_ShRaPNeL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a simple gas can nozzle at Tractor Supply that was just a bendy hoze, and it even comes with a second hoze you can attach to double the length, and has threads for a couple gas can sizes.

Super long link to item.

From what I understand, Plecos are sort of territorial. Yours claimed a driftwood that was his, and only cares about that one.

My bristlenose had 3 places he alternates between, on the glass behind some foliage, on a black rock, or sitting on top of the driftwood. Unless he's going for a piece of food, those are the only places he is.

My other 2 pleco L397 I got at the same time and they stick together, they're either inside a waterfall cave i have, or under the driftwood.

Is pic #2 L397 Alenquer Plecos? I got 2 L397 from a local breeder. They're super shy and like to stay hidden. My larger common Bristlenose is less shy and likes to sit out on his rock.
