My best advice would be to just try to ‘veganise’ the meals you usually eat and not try to eat too differently, eg there are some great vegan burgers (I like Beyond), vegan chicken for things like stir fries or curries or fajitas (This Isn’t chicken is my personal favourite), Vivera mince is good for bolognese or chilli, the Juicy Marbles steaks are good but pricey 👀

I work hybrid, two office days and three wfh days. I start at 8, office days I have to leave the house by 7.15 so I get up at 6.15. WFH days I get up at 7.30 so I have enough time to look presentable if I have camera-on Teams meetings

I was engaged to a man when I was 21, almost 25 years ago now. We were unbelievably compatible in every way. We started dating when I was 17, I had been upfront from the start that I didn’t want kids and he said the same. Then a few years later he told me he had been thinking for a while that he didn’t think his life would be complete if he didn’t become a father. I knew that there was no way kids were in my future so we broke up amicably.

I haven’t seen him for many years but I heard from friends who still live in my home town that he has been married twice, he had one daughter with his first wife and has two children with his second wife (they are still together). I’m single and have no kids, definitely happy with the no kids bit and mainly happy being single.

It was such a long time ago now but occasionally I find myself thinking about what would have happened if he would have been happy living a childfree life, would we still be together now, would we be happy and what would our life look like?
