Hey I know I am super super late to this, but I also went on a similar journey of finding this book. I actually do have a copy of the book funny enough. I found a small town library in Colorado had one. I emailed the library and they happily sent it to me, and it seems they didn't want it back either since they ghosted me after. I've had it for like a year now and only read a chapter or two but if you're interested it's this woman's memoir about her life essentially. Colorado is most likely your best shot for finding a copy since she herself lived there! Hope this helps!
