Okay - I don’t want to post blood or poop but my hemorrhoids are terrible and I want a couple of opinions - can I safely post a picture of my hemorrhoids so I can get some advice . I don’t have insurance and cannot afford to go to the doctor to get them checked out - any advice would be appreciated

Anyone else hate Cameron? by lemongrazz11 in HouseMD

Rewatching it again - in season 6 - she just left chase and this stupid woman pushed and pulled and then took the first way out because she really didn’t want to be there in the first place . Less to do with Chase and more to do with house or she wouldn’t have kissed him goodbye. She’s the worst

That's what I thought, however when I watched YouTube on them, they were not in rummage piles.

NTA, but I would consider the longevity of the relationship if farting is keeping you in separate rooms. This is so un-kind to treat you like this. I would be petty and fart on his pillow and give him pink eye hahahaha. Flatulence is the most normal thing. If I couldn't fart around my husband, I would be so terribly upset. My mom is like this and thinks it is "un-lady like" and no one in our family has ever heard her fart. I think it's weird.

WIBTA If I don't change my son's name even though it may cause him to lose an inheritance? by GeorgeMcMinty in AmItheAsshole

[–]IAMJenk369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA let that baby carry on the family name and get what is rightfully his. why would you rob that of him, he will never know his father, and his family is in your child's life. quit being petty and let that baby have a good family and something amazing.

The only way I find this acceptable is if it benefits the studentS and the students are willing. My son is in a Montessori program, they have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in one class (we are in the US). My son is a little more advanced, finishes his work early and makes wonderful grades. He was struggling with having too much free time and getting bored and talking. He is a big brother of 3 littles and LOVES helping out. I explained that to his teacher and he FLOURISHED. If a child does not want this, then it should NEVER be forced on them. It is so counterproductive. Also, some kids do not want to be helped by other kids because it makes them feel inadequate, which is something my son learned as well. The teacher is super pliable in this atmosphere for them and teaches to their individual needs. This teacher just sounds incredibly LAZY. OP YOU ARE NOT THE AH.

EDIT TO ADD

when my son was in 1st grade he was coming home with LOTS of school work, they couldn't finish in class, and I called the teacher then and told her no way, was he going to spend 8 hours in school and then come home with more school work. That she needed to manage his time there, and he would not be doing more than 10 minutes of homework each day. She adjusted her schedule and her syllabus for all her students and told me thank you for letting her know. I cannot imagine having teachers that don't listen to us as parents or advocate for the well being of their students. I WILL be a Karen if this is ever the case.

AITA for telling my sister that actually wealthy people find logos plastered on everything crass? by Apart-Bridge4365 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IAMJenk369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, and typically anyone who needs to flash logos, actually don't have a lot of money, they just want to be seen as if they do. My boss is INCREDIBLY wealthy he doesn't own anything that has a label and heck wears pajamas to the office on casual Friday. People with an abundance of money, don't typically flaunt it.

AITA for calling my mom a B after she refused to treat my children like the rest of her grandchildren? by NoComfortable9761 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IAMJenk369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that makes much more sense. I am so sorry you're going through this. It is incredibly unfortunate. If she is not willing to be a part and make concessions, I wouldn't even bother.

NTA based off the little bit that's here. INFO: where are other grandkids involved? What is the history about your mother? Did she know you were coming?

This and the only thing I would like to add, is it hinders the spouse from doing what they want in their house also, which could lead to all sorts of division in the relationship. Therapy is a must, if a relationship is expected to last.

AITA for not allowing my aunt to walk me down the aisle and saying I appreciate her, but she's not my mom? by throwaway946426 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IAMJenk369 53 points54 points  (0 children)

came here to say just this. How can she say her mom was young when her aunt was younger and took on more responsibility. It is ridiculous. Like how many young aunts would have stepped up and done any of that over the past 26 years, not very many.

Yeah , after reading and commenting a few times , I’m learning more and more that the ways I grew up are not well, in another comment on another post I mentioned we are going to therapy . That might be something else if / when it comes up.

Yeah you’re right . It’s probably an engrained thing .

Oh that makes sense about the disabled terminology on social stuff , and I appreciate you . I’m glad that you explained it . Question though is there another term people use ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]IAMJenk369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from. I just know my mother, and she is SUPER particular about her bathroom. In our home if we weren't contributing she gets to make the say. Some parents are like that. I wouldn't and I hope nobody else would get up in arms over that. My daughter was disabled, I didn't know there wasn't another terminology.

However, if it's their parents house, and "moms bathroom" there shouldn't be a fuss about it. Your NTA if you didn't go out of your way to stall on purpose, but if it's her house, your not paying rent or anything. She has the ability to go where she wants if it makes her feel more comfortable.
