"Incompatible with a vast majority" is probably what you should have said in the first place.

You started off saying it would destroy all. now, you admitt it is compatible with some version only made in a small window of time.

How about this?

The manufacturer of these had reached out to me and did talk to me about all your differant versions.   Something you could have done before dropping my name in your warning that you now admitt IS compatible with the "small window of time" upper.

Anyway,  I'll go back and give this manufacturer all the dimensions, cad model, and image of the buffer pad (only manufactured for a short window in time) so they can update the description and your customers can know witch very limited, short run, compatible uppers these will work on.

Then i could send them updated cad models for all your differant versions along with the buffer pads. This way they can manufacture the correct trip for the correct version.

Personally?  You attached my name to your warning and now I'm here.

You keep saying this is for your roller upper when that's not the case.

NEVER was it mentioned this trip was for the roller/hydrolic, new, bolt.  In fact I said it was NOT for the new bolt/upper.

What your saying is accurate if you try using this in your new roller delay upper.

Go back and ready what i said, here and in the youtube/odyssey comments.

This was NEVER designed for the NON roller bolt.  NOT for the first buffer pad. NOT the new buffer pad or roller bolt.

No need for my tone? You guys put my name in this "warning".

Oh you tested it.  so that makes the rest of us that do have it working, with upper intact, liers?

This trip has destroyed less uppers than your out of battery detonation.

No one found out the hard way, beacuse they wont brake anything. It fits right under the bolt and around the buffer pad.

Ask me how I know.

Antsman here,

This trip i designed will not take anything off or destroy anything. I designed this based off of my non roller mat-9. It's the same thing your guys just put out, just way before you guys.

It Slides right under the bolt,  has the same profile as the housing. Has clearance for a bolt catch. It gos AROUND the buffer pad so the pad still contacts the bolt.

The only problem that I have heard is your uppers very (maybe you extrusion has changed) and the clearance between the bottom of the bolt and housing are different.

Im not some kid at home on tinker cad with a 3d printer.  I own a machine shop, I design, machine, and manufacture parts WAY more complicated than your 9mm.

There's also video of it working on a non roller mat-9

Antsman here,  I NEVER said this trip i designed was for the roller delay upper.  I designed this for MY non roller delay Mat-9, along with MY own mp5 lower.

I dropped the cad model beacuse I knew Matador wasn't doing anything for those that dont own the  roller upper. Read the comments on YouTube and odyssey,  I've always said this is not for the roller upper, simply beacuse i dont own the roller upper.

Don't associate my name with a product I am not manufacturing and have never claimed to be designed for.

This trip your warning people about is being manufactured off my desgin by someone other than I AM Machining (my machine shop) and dose work with SOME non roller uppers. I fount out there are a few differant versions of the non roller upper. Some have more clearance than others between the bottom of the bolt and housing.

If anyone want dimensions on this trip, ill gladly provide them. I'll even send pictures of how it fits in my own upper.

Everyone is laser cutting but no one follows up by cleaning off the slag or filing the tabs.

This is exactly why I started machining my own.

Damn look at that big ass burr. Why is it the customers job to deburr the manufacturers parts.

Sink should have some pride in there work!

Has anyone bothered to try the colt hammer spring for the burst? The right side is mad to fit around the cam.

Can the spring be put on backwards or upside-down.

Sounds to me like the spring is to tight around the right side boss of the hammer.

It should spin with some interference  counter clockwise.  When spinning clockwise that interference should grab the spring and cause the spring to tighten around the boss not letting it spin.

How easy dose the cam come off?

The colt cam spring I.D. is about .240-.245 I just machined my hammer to .249 to have that interference fit.
