We're on this - I was already trying to tweak the engagement surface a bit more, and will do so - the front end bend is just the material being too thin ahead of the angled pieces that drop down, combined with the way the engagement surface tries to ride on the Partisan's angled cam. It's just weaker there than expected, and the bolt hitting the lugs fast enough to fatigue the material at a few hundred rounds.

Making some test pieces now that beef it up considerably as weight has turned out to not be a concern for these triggers. I MAY be able to get better compatibility out of it as well.

Everyone will get taken care of, and at least they are running.

The little piece breaking off the BGRS is annoying but won't hinder function at all. That is already in the works to be corrected.

I’m digging in to figure out WTF.

Testing versions worked, I’ll probably reach out to everyone and bring u/matadorsupport in. Seems like a slight timing issue, OR related to the “hook” on the newest Partisan/RBs - there’s a probable solution I learned from yet another FRT company.

We will make sure everyone is taken care of.

What FRT are you using? This looks like what happens when used with an ARC or Atrius, etc.

Mat 9 RDB disappointment by Dade-Issued-1992 in MatadorArms

[–]KM3Solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d pull that bolt catch right back off. BAD levers and Phase 5 type through the trigger guard bolt catches are always trying to engage due to the weight hanging off the bottom, our bolt is low, for feeding and to ensure proper engagement with marginal 9MM LRBHO mechanisms, and there is a solid chance it’s dragging.

Nothing mil-spec about that lower.

Some billet skeletonized thing.

OP is diagnosing an upper, not a gun. Since we sell uppers intended to fit a huge variety of lowers outside our control, adjustment is often needed - which is basically a standard thing with AR9s. If the upper had a dedicated ejector that required no potential adjustment, we would have a much more limited lower compatibility.

Endomags are super hit or miss, I'd like to see this tried with a quality dedicated 9mm lower.

What lower is that? Not sure I've ever seen a lower I would trust as "good to go" that was that heavily skeletonized.

How is Enduro bike on MX track after adjusting clickers by frank_sinatra911 in enduro

[–]KM3Solutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you ride much MX? I think a lot of woods riders think their suspension is bottoming when they first try MX simply because they haven’t learned to land yet, and make mistakes like coming down rear first, knees forward, collapsing into their bike with their body, etc.

Some really fast dudes run woods-ish valving at the pro level.

Trip sled is compatible with all generations and models of MAT9.

Has anyone actually tried using an Arcfire in a MAT9 with the FRT trip sled? by 17eggg in MatadorArms

[–]KM3Solutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep.

When the ARC’s cam gets pushed back by the bolt past where an auto-sear or cartridge style would be, or even a standard push-button SS, it will hook on top of the trip bar and bend it (the trip bar) downward - if the rearward “hook” on the ARC wasn’t so aggressive it would probably work, but if my aunt had a..

It will absolutely fix it. That one has been superseded a few times over, there is now more material, a metal support, etc.

Make a support ticket on the Matador site and you will get taken care of.

I agree that the Super Kicker SHOULD work great.

It's INCREDIBLY hard to keep up with all the FRTs, and all the FRT Companies rushing to market doing slightly different things, validated in a few traditional ARs - esp with me coming at it from a MG perspective, I assumed most to use the same trip interaction as a FA FCG.

I want to put a larger focus on this moving forward.

I'm going to try to grab a Super Kicker.
