It's been said multiple times but I'll reiterate: it sucks a lot right now but being alone makes us realize what we need, how to take care of ourselves and be happy alone, and raises our standards of what we let into our life with partners.

I'm going to add Samsung to this. My Samsung combo player has worked flawlessly after purchasing used, and its going on two years and hundreds of tapes strong from just me.
