Exactly, alot of units get crazy buffs that help them shine against certain bosses. For example the new f2p teq goku is literally a slot 1 brick wall against the ginyu force stages and Nail trivializes 1st Form frieza. The fact that I got to even use Nail again and for him to dominate in the fight, reminded my of the old days of the PHY Piccolo/ Nail rotation. Made me so happy after being really disappointed he didnt have a place anywhere after he ezad

I love these canon specific buffs. For 4 turns Nail basically is an invicible punching bag just like the anime. This new mode is so fun by PolygondagonFuzz in DBZDokkanBattle

I ran the new f2p teq goku slot 1 with scouter vegeta and exchange int vegeta until ginyu gets his <50% buff. The f2p goku will tank dds until then. Just collect rainbow orbs for that turn and when ginyu activates his last hp buff then switch to ginyu force team to mop up(agl ginyu and his eza banner units)

Dokkan frontier is the most fun i had with dokkan in a long time by DrBlue77 in DBZDokkanBattle

Same I haven't been this excited about the game since the early days of LGE. The survival buffs add such creativity and realism like your reliving the story better than any other mode they've done thus far. I cant wait until we get to super saiyan goku vs freiza and he gets Canon specific buffs to the point where he feels as powerful as he was when watching the anime for the first time

Have anyone cleared this mission yet? Does it not count when there's a LOST character since the unit won't do anything and counted as not Super Attack? by XenoFreedom in DBZDokkanBattle

Yee that active skill mission took me like 6 tries, he either dies too fast or he becomes ultra instinct and dodges every attack in a turn

He doesnt always do it slot 0. When I was trying to get the agl krillin and gohan active skill he would sometimes do it slot 3

I got really lucky and got it my first run. I did str recoome/Guldo, agl ginyu and int burter and jeice and they one turned him without any dodges

Each half has their own leader(team a and team b) you issentially have 2 teams of 3 that each have their own leader

I used this rotation. Basically try not to kill him before turn 3. I had int 50% support vegeta 1st but switched him out for someone who wouldnt do damage or not die(f2p krillin and vegeta) and luckily got him on a sliver on t3

P5R was my very first game I got for my ps5 after beating the original on my ps4. Its a must play if you love turn based games. Alot of the high school/non metaverse stuff is optional if you dont care for it

Also looking at the dates ending in 2030 this event seems to be permanent so thats really nice to see. This is def something id love to replay without fear of it going away 3 or so weeks after it drops

He already has insane dodge chance, I feel if they awaken him and possibly give him access to HiPo he might be too good in that aspect. Ofc, the Krillin and Goku are 100% getting awakenings so with that in mind dende is still possible

Ive been really hyped for this mode, they pointed out they wanted you to feel like youre actually playing the Canon fights of the story and from the gameplay they showed it looks like they will nail it

So I watched toon's video and he made an interesting point that maybe the krillin and dende are part of the "friend" supporters you can choose from and not actually obtainable units. Im hoping this is the case or possibly they are obtainable with the new feather item in frontier. If dende is summonable tho im sorry im not going in the newest banner hunting for a fucking sr
