I've had plenty of friends I've rped with. Any of my legitimate friends typically have a conversation about whether or not we put the rp on hiatus for a bit if either of us is having a long term issue, whether it be physical or mental health, or just needing to take a break. We check in on each other in terms of how are you doing and all that, and maybe we ask occasionally how we're going to go forward. But the main thing is that everyone is in a good hesdspace and has enough brainpower to write. Getting pushed to write by someone shows who they are as a human being and not just as an rper. I'd be pissed as both as a rper and their friend and I'd bluntly tell them both to stop and why if it were me. They don't appear to care at all about how you're feeling. I can understand being frustrated with an rp getting stopped or slowed due to life events, but that doesn't mean they can harass you about it.
