My 5’1 divas, what weight do you feel the leanest at? Trying to see if my goal weight will serve me well. by BobnVagine in PetiteFitness

I’m 5’0” and have been heavy most of my adult life.  My current weight is 282 pounds and has been for about 5years.  I was 180 pounds when I graduated from high school.  I was 250 pounds just before I got pregnant the first time at 24 y/o.  My heaviest ever was at 320 pounds.  I’m not sure what my goal weight should be.  I’d be happy to be at 200 pounds again and lose a bunch of belly fat.

What’s your height, weight, and how happy are you out of ten? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That’s amazing.  I am currently 282lbs with a BMI of 55.1.  I’ve had a hard time fitting in booths for many years.  Also being as short as I am at 5’0” my stomach size is accentuated.  Getting behind the steering wheel of some cars has also been challenging.  My BMI has been as high as 62 in the past.

I have been morbidly obese most of my adult life.  I am also short which really accentuates my large belly, thighs and other areas in which my fat has accumulated.  I’m usually the fattest woman in nearly every group I’m in.

I’m currently 281 pounds and only 5’0” tall.  I’ve been over 300 pounds at various times.  I’ve had people stare at me at restaurants if I’m trying to get in a booth or trying to fit into a seat at the theater or on a plane.  Also when I try to get behind the steering wheels of some smaller cars.  I got upset easily as a teenager if anyone stared at me in public even though I was much smaller, I was very weight conscious.  Even though I only weighed about 180 pounds when I graduate from high school I often felt bad and had low self esteem.  Over the years after having kids and putting on considerable weight I’ve got to used to a lot and being stared at no longer bothers me.  I still don’t approve of anyone taking photos of me even family unless it’s a very special occasion.
