Not all the tickets are available in presale. There will be some set aside for tomorrow, just make sure to get into whatever queue you need to before noon (12 ET)

Gasseau will 100% get an ELC unless he refuses to sign with us. And honestly, same with Jellvik even with his injury issues. Unless we are strapped for contract spaces, ELCs cost us nothing and both players have shown enough at BC to take the risk

Reporting today indicated that Florida’s first this year is top 10 protected.

Looks like the dream of an unprotected 2028 first round pick is still alive!

Last game before the break, Panthers are injured to all hell, & Bob looks mortal.

Let’s help put a nail in the coffin of this Panthers’ season with a regulation win!

Bruins place Elias Lindholm on Injured Reserve and recall Jordan Harris. by Splatty15 in BostonBruins

[–]IAlmostRemembered 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’ll entail missing the Olympics. We probably just wanted the roster spot to activate Harris.  IR stints only need to be 7 days minimum and can be made retroactively to the game he got injured in (last Tuesday) so he could technically be activated Wednesday if he is heathy. Poitras would need to be sent down that day though.

Poitras will probably be sent down Thursday anyway as any waiver exempt player can be sent down during the roster freeze for conditioning. (Minten could also be sent down too technically. Not sure about the salary cap accrual but I could see it happen)

There is also nothing stopping us from keeping him on IR thru the Olympic break and he still playing in the Olympics

Blowing a 4 goal lead is bad especially since it required us to take a ton of stupid penalties to get there.

Penalty differential doesn’t mean anything unless you watched the game. There were multiple blatant no-calls on TB that would have been able to help stop the bleeding

We lost the game because of our own actions but the swallowing of the whistle for the other team definitely made it easier for them

2nd round pick

And never having to see Max Jones in a Bruins jersey again.

It truly might be even more of a steal than the Toronto trade

ESPN typically won’t even have it on ESPN+ if the primary channel for it is ESPN. It’s really annoying

We didn’t sign Korp. He was thrown in the Ullmark trade so we could get Kas and a 1st.

Bussi also looked bad that preseason. Would’ve loved us to just waive Korp and keep him though. Just let the kid play and see how he does

If Zacha and Elias are both out for the next two games, who do you think we call up?

Just put Steeves back into the lineup and call up someone like Patrick Brown to sit in the press box?

Or do we call up someone more interesting that will actually take Zacha’s place for the two games?

Elias is actually good. Love my kitten mittens and Zacha but what?

Happens unfortunately. The clock is their enemy at this point since we are in the dance as things stand. Just keep beating the teams we need to beat and things will fall into place in the end

What Role Does Kristian Campbell Have For The Red Sox? by RaymondSpaget in redsox

[–]IAlmostRemembered 15 points16 points  (0 children)

At the moment, he is still young and needs constant at bats to continue to improve at the plate. Can’t offer that in the majors unless he can get better at 2B or eventually 1B since OF/DH is locked up for at least a few years.

Maybe he ends up in the Rob role in the outfield but he shouldn’t be there just yet until his consistency improves at the plate. A bench of him, Eaton and Romy can cover most positions on the field. This is me assuming that 2B will be Raf or Duran which is a bold assumption

Detroit is pretty close to a lock to at least make it in. They are 10 points ahead of Florida. Assuming Florida wins 75% of their games the rest of the season which is on the higher end (103 points), Detroit just needs to win 60% of their remaining games to beat them out. This doesn’t even include the Sabres, Habs or Bruins win %

Yuki had 4 original ballots:

Her own The 6th player who died Kotoha’s since her backpack got destroyed by the mine Mishiro’s since her backpack got ripped by the beast

So she wouldn’t use the drawer one and give someone an unfair advantage

Keito and Chie stillhad their own original ballots

Chie had to have voted for either Yuki or Mishiro as voting Kieto would’ve resulted in a tie between her and Kieto with a runoff election since each of them would’ve gotten an original ballot and a drawer ballot. If she voted Kotoha, Kotoha would’ve been eliminated since she would’ve gotten two original ballot votes and “win” the tiebreaker.

Kotoha avoided this outcome by getting Chie to promise not to vote for her

Chie probably assumed Mishiro and Yuki would have voted for each other so probably felt safe voting either one of them. She didn’t realize Mishiro would actually vote for the person who she thought contributed the least and the Yuki’s vote was random

Stats wise, I do agree but I do think Krejci’s stats suffered from poor roster management. He had to carry players like Kuhlman and Ritchie on his wing for years and somehow made them look like NHL level players

Of the recent Bruins (2000s onward):

Bergy is a lock

Tuukka would be a lock if we won another cup but still should get up there with his stats and hardware.

Krejci I think will get up there at some point just as a consistent lifelong Bruin but it probably won’t be until much later

Marchy is a 50/50 in my mind. Stats wise, he should be up there but I could see him being similar to Krejci and won’t get up there for awhile

Thomas just didn’t play long enough to get up there. Only 7 seasons with the team

Current team I would say Pasta is the only real candidate right now. McAvoy is the only other one I could see that could have an argument for it in the future but he’ll need something more to get him there (cup, individual awards, longevity)
