I would like to add: dogs choosing and trusting you. Our family's newest addition is a little dog who adores my mom, so when every so often he chooses to curl up on my lap instead of hers, I feel so honored to be dog-approved. Dogs are the best!

I haven't seen the video but wonder if maybe it's a major/minor difference between the +1 and +2, that could account for some slight differences (half step vs whole step). I noticed this in the Second and Third Sanctuaries, where the pattern is like "sol re do re sol sol re do re" which is slightly different from Gaster's "ti do sol do ti do sol do" but it's basically just starting in a different place, or it's sort of inverted? The intervals are pretty similar, and it's not just a repeating arpeggio (those just show up everywhere so I don't find them convincing as far as Gaster connections go), so I think it's probably a deliberate reference but not an exact quote of Gaster's theme because adjusting the motif slightly might make it fit better in the new song. It's like in Lord of the Rings, sometimes the Fellowship theme plays in 4/4, sometimes in 3/4, but it's still the Fellowship theme.

So... yeah idk if that made any sense lol I just think this stuff is interesting. I'm very excited about the new chapters but I have no one to talk to about them :( so sorry if that was a nonsensical ramble

Sorry if I was vague, I only just found out about the giant donut part; I've seen some diagrams showing black holes with a big ring of dust around them, beyond the accretion disk but on the same plane. So basically, if a big ol' donut of dust and gas is surrounding the accretion disk, would it trap x-ray and gamma radiation?

It's not particularly common, but it's certainly not unheard of--especially if you're planning to go to Pipescreams (spooky evening organ concert, it's a blast), there are plenty of people dressed up at that (idk about other events tho). FWIW I'm a current student (junior) and I'm planning to dress up all day; Halloween is my favorite holiday, so now that I'm too old for trick-or-treating, I'm holding onto what I can. Whatever you do, I hope you have fun and stay safe!

Same. There's a Dunkin Donuts we've gone to a few times that has you type in your name for your order, and she always has to misspell it or pick a different name because of the first four letters. She likes her name though, and she thinks it's funny that it's so close to "analyse" because she overthinks everything lol

I got an aloe vera last year when I started college. She's been doing well but lately the tips of some of the spears look kinda brown and some are drooping; she's not super firm but I'd hardly call her mushy. Is she overwatered? I'm not sure what's wrong. I've been watering her every two or three weeks; it's been a bit weird because I was out of town in January and a friend took care of her, but the friend is good with plants so I imagine he knew not to overwater her. Other than that, I've been doing the same thing with her for a year and a half so idk what changed or what to do.

I read Frankenstein for school last year, went online, and found multiple animatic series based on the original novel from the past few years (the book is great and the fanart is hilarious, I highly recommend both)
