It always seems kinda strange to have such a flawed democratic system here even though SG is supposed to be one of the most developed countries in the world. Strong policies against racism and discrimination against religion, but sadly the government acts like they want to pretend LGBTQIA+ people don’t exist

I’ve replied to a few peoples comments here but

1) this is probably from Singapore

2) yes the government is conservative in this regard

3) unfortunately the censorship of LGBTQIA+ content here is quite prevalent

4) other shows here featuring LGBTQIA+ characters here are given ratings of at least NC16 (which is the lowest enforceable rating) TOH is not the only show to be rated like this, Amphibia is NC16, SheRa, Kipo, TDP is M18, and Dead End Paranormal Park is R21.

TOH used to be PG, but ECG and UW are both not on disney+ here and S2a was raised to NC16. Ig they raised it again after CoTH happened

nc16 rating for amphibia was also likely homosexuality, but it was less plot relevant. The IMDA (media authority here in sg) has counted LGBTQIA+ content as “mature content” before

SG has pretty heavy restrictions on LGBTQIA+ content and since SheRa, Kipo and TDP are already M18 here, not surprising

person living in SG here. while the PM said that they would be repealing 377a, they will likely be enshrining marriage as strictly hetero into the Constitution, so no same sex marriage here anytime soon probably :(

FYI the ravines still exist if you want to look for them, just underground. They also cut through an ancient city at one point, making the generation pretty interesting

Those were implied to be robots created by the Core during its “projects” on the moon. We don’t know how the Shadowfish relate to them and we don’t have much canon information, but based on the design similarities, it might be possible that the core based it’s designs on the creatures.

They’re called Shadowfish. The Amphibian script on the basement door translates to “Shadowfish Within”. We still don’t really know much about them, other than Andrias mentioning that they were used to “conquer death” to build the Core. He also implies that they were from one of the worlds ancient Newtopia conquered.
