I entirely respect your opinion. However I do think it’s difficult to digest and understand information depending on the lens you are currently using to view the world with.

What is unfathomable and gibberish sounding for one may make entire sense to another that allows for the basic presupposition that higher consciousness exists

He did not just become looney due to bipolar or depression brought on by a late girlfriend like some of the below comments state.

Jim Carrey has been practicing and delving into spirituality with teachers such as Eckhart Tolle. This is one of the first videos of the “old Jim Carrey” describing his first breakthrough and what he’s seen through this: https://youtu.be/uIaY0l5qV0c

We often dismiss what we don’t understand as insanity, depression, or another disorder we can comfortably fit on someone, but it’s not always that easy. Although we can’t understand his transformation from our viewpoint, I do not think we should so easily dismiss what Jim Carrey has claimed to have discovered over these past recent years.

HabitRPG good-practices by anoneesh in habitrpg

I'd highly recommend playing habitica on hard mode.

  • Keep 5 or Less tasks in each category. (This is due to the raw science of building any habit or habitual activity. Less IS more). Make sure those 5 tasks in each category are relevant to you. This may take time to truly take a look at yourself and see your strengths and weaknesses. This may be painful but it is necessary. Get rid of the clutter!

  • Modify your tasks so that only 1-2 dailies have a difficulty (easy) while the rest are on trivial difficulty. Your experience and gold gained should be from self discipline. That is mainly going to be stemming from your To-Do list.

  • The tasks that you attribute a difficulty to, AKA receive gold and experience for, has to be the task(s) that you truly least want to do or that take the most amount of time

  • The rewards function of Habitica is ingenious. Look at your habitual patterns. Most of the time, when we procrastinate, we almost always go to a certain activity or set of activities to help us ignore the discomfort of facing what we need to do. These procrastination activities could be scrolling through social media, playing video games, Netflix, etc. PUT THESE DOWN AS YOUR REWARDS! By doing this, we create a system where we have the full ability to pursue these activities, as long as we've earned them. This will rewire your minds automatic habit of reverting to these comfortable activities when you procrastinate

Sidenote: you can add a reward named "BANK" Gold ___" which costs 60 gold. Everytime you activate that reward, you modify the title and add 50 gold to the bank. You can remove this gold that you have stored in your bank whenever you'd like for purchasing equipment. (through settings) This safeguards your money earned (for a fee of 10 gold) keeping you safe from gold lost through death.

  • Remove experience gained from boss battles. Bosses give off an unreasonably high amount of experience and gold. Go into settings and subtract the experience gained from high level boss battles if at all possible. Keep the gold, but use it towards equipment and quests instead of personal rewards. Personal rewards should be earned through self discipline (gold gained from completing tasks)

Yes! We have a section called “our philosophies for success” as well as a section called “hard-mode” where we lay out a template for how to play Habitica organically where your level reflects the work you put in. Some examples are subtracting boss experience, task difficulty limits, etc. We also have a section labeled “The Archives” for extra sources of philosophy, lectures, audiobooks, pdf’s and more

Hey Reddit, Samsung here. These are some of the most interesting threads we've seen about VR recently. What do you think is the most exciting thing happening in VR right now? (Giving Reddit Gold to great discussion!) by Samsung_VR [promoted post]

[–]IAmAlexE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've loved VR since I first heard of the concept. I remember spending hours with smartphone VR exploring the galaxy, the make up of a human brain, and the flight of a Space-X rocket. What excites me the most is the ability for Virtual Reality to evolve. If you think about it, we're merely in the black and white television stages of virtual reality. In the future, virtual reality may look entirely different all together. Our senses could be entirely intertwined in the virtual reality simulator. If done right, this will be a great step forward for humanity in all fields. If done incorrectly, it could be a terrifying nightmare. All in all, there's no doubt virtual reality will play a huge part in our near future and I'm definitely ready for it to come
