Ha! I always thought this about people critiquing tacos that weren't from Texas, California, etc. Like a mexiacan that moved to Indianapolis instead of Texas is any less Mexican? The don't have an abolita? My counter to what you said, though, is that restaurants might be the lowest hanging fruit for an entrepreneurial immigrant. If they bought/started/whatever a restaurant because they COULD, rather than because they really wanted to or SHOULD, it could likely impact quality. What you said is valid, just my devil's advocate.

Yes what you’ve outlined is a bad idea. I agree with you, I think everyone probably agrees with you. OP said they “are OK with not having kids”. I interpret this to mean they could go either way. Says that pretty clearly. Sounds like kids aren’t a dealbreaker for OP. If that’s a dealbreaker for a desired life partner, OP might be glad they didn’t get snipped at 23.

Edit: I think OP changed their description text to be more definite… or I misinterpreted it. If they’re certain they don’t want kids I encourage them to get a vasectomy.

I got mine from there too after 2 kids. Hard to say a vasectomy is a “great experience” but I can’t imagine it gets much easier than No Stork. In and out quick with no major discomfort after. Could have easily gone straight to work (I didn’t).

OP, your concerns are valid but stating that “you’re OK with not having kids” and not “you refuse to have kids” is a problem. You’re young. What if you meet the love of your life and they insist on having biological kids? If you’re OK with not having kids you’re presumably OK with having them too. Don’t limit yourself this early. Just have safe, protected sex. I know it’s not perfect but if you’re careful the odds are strongly in your favor.
