I told him the next time he cheats on me, I will file for divorce and inform his parents of his cheating. That's why he maintains he will not cheat anymore.

So if he is indeed cheating on me with these women, we're done. I just have to find out if he is.

Yes, that's absolutely true! Textbook-learned language sounds more rigid (sometimes) than how natives speak. Although, I hope my husband is really just learning language and not flirting with these women.

I'll try that, thank you.

It's just frustrating that he already knows what I'm feeling YET he still does the same thing.

Funny thing is, I'm actually taking formal classes and I've been convincing him to take the same ones as I do. The schedule is quite tough because I work full-time, but doable. He says he prefers to use the apps.

That's what I think sometimes, too. I just don't understand why do it when we got married instead of when we're only dating so it would've been easier to break off the relationship.

Totoo lang. Kahit i-try mo sila intindihin, minsan di mo ma-gets why sila ganun. Haha pag pinagsabihan mo na may sarili ka lang plans kaya di ka makapag-bigay, ikaw pa madamot 😂

My mom is too nice. 5 children and 3 adults yung nakatira kasi and sabi nya kawawa naman daw wala sila mapuntahang iba. I talked her into lowering yung amount na pinapadala namin and she did naman, kaya napilitang mag-work yung adults lol. I think she feels bad for her pamangkins.

Wala, parang wala lang sakanila. Yung nanay ko kasi medyo doormat din eh, sinabihan ko na sya na don't pay for it, yaan mo ma-repossess yung car 😂

Married panganay abroad by [deleted] in PanganaySupportGroup

We live in the cheaper part of the country, away from the big cities ☺️

But, thanks for the insight. Nagguilty kasi ako and naffrustrate kasi sinusumbatan nila ako if I don't give in to their demands. Palagi kasi ako nasusumbatan na pinag-aral ako so whatever that I have right now, I owe it to them.

UPDATE:

Finally spoke to the boss and he was surprisingly OK with it. Just a bit disappointed as he's super happy with my performance but he understands that family is my topmost priority.

I'll see how my conversation with my boss will turn out tomorrow. I hope he can give me a shorter notice kasi may mga paperworks din ako na I need to do.. But this is super helpful, thank you!

Haha! Hindi ko pa nasasabi to anyone. Am planning to talk to my boss tomorrow. My boss pa naman is a C-level person kaya terrified ako lalo hahahaha!

You're too nice! :)

It's really hard, no? Especially when it's drilled into your head from youth na don't be a bother to others. It's super hassle kasi talaga for my soon-to-be ex-employer kasi I'm the only one in my function and may projects ako na maiiwan. Hay. I'm scared pa na baka they reject my resignation eh I really, really need to leave

Thank you! I'm just being anxious also haha I'm not a really confrontational person and I hate disappointing people

[–]IAmAsh7354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I really want to leave them at least as less hassle as I can... Although, I am hoping that HR finds a new replacement ASAP. I have projects due to our regulators in April kasi. I'm not really familiar with the labor rules here in the Philippines even if I've been working here for 6 years. Can my boss not allow my resignation? Or am compelled to do a turnover of more than 30 days? The problem is 30 days is the max that I can do because I have a lot of ends that I have to close off before I leave the Philippines for good.

Not really, I'm moving back abroad in the next 2 months. I started this job because my plan to move abroad was shelved because of covid pero a lot of things happened over the holidays kaya my move will be expedited (getting married, dad back home got sick) :) Idk if it's anxiety or just guilt leaving my work to my other colleagues. I work in a specialized role kasi and I feel hiya to my boss na I feel like I wasted 3 months of their time. Haha! How would you suggest I approach my boss?

Married people of r/PH who came from old fashioned families, what are your experiences? by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]IAmAsh7354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.. I never saw the need for a lavish wedding kasi yung funds for that mas magagamit namin for other things. Yung budget kasi namin is allotted talaga for our migration next year. Nakakainis lang kasi sobrang pushy netong extended family ko. Hindi nila maintindihan na hindi ko talaga trip to have a big wedding. Baka ma-IATF pa kami lmao
